HM I just watched rio 01, and on jungle the whole place was bouncing, yestderday i didn`t see that all. a lot of standing over the whole show

ok my two cents:

UPS:

- The setlist (minus points later), switching irs and better, and an early sweet child o mine made it more atractive to me.

- axl in my eyes was really fantastic, in a good mood and (whenever you could hear him right) his voice is awesome, better than i imagined.

- i loved the band james when axl was singing, they should do that more, become a band.

- dizzy`s intro to live and let die

- my personal highlight. KOHD, i never thought this can be played in such a beatiful way. just awesome

- "How many of thought we didn`t show up tonight?? Ah i see all hands raised, that`s how you motherfuckers are!!" Famous!!

DOWNS:

- the crowd....come on guys that was a rock show not a stand together

- songs they didn`t play. they wastet time on the solo`s instead of TWAT, CHIND and MADDY

- AOL sound

- MIXING, fucking christ, the mixingon all their shows is just horrible. the techs are supposed to be professionals?? I can do that better. it was just aweful.

- cut the single solos short, more james instead, except the robin, richard solo was nice

SO: all in all a fantastic show, looking forward to let myself be called "download motherfucker" next week in germany. Guns are back, much better than i imagined. Work on the mixing and AXL PLEASE GIVE ME TWAT NEXT WEEK: PLEASE!!!!!!!

not bad....enjoyed listening! you have a pretty good voice. the three different layers you used for guitar fit well.

but change the solo, doesn`t fit in well. try the 2002 solo from BH, and than improvise, but a little slower!!

this band was in my live since i was 14. different UYI shows, and not even that, not only music, it was my live, my livestyle, and that was not only axl, that was the whole old band.

right now, i grwe older, so i can live with axl`s trying new stuff with new guys. but seeing this guys isn`t the same for me.

People who went to shows with 16/17, drunk, got in trouble with their parents, in school an so on should know what i am talking about, and they can, as i do, like the new music, they would love to see the old guys back in the ring!!

A really really loud: do you know where the fuck you are!! Awesome.

And if axl decides NOT to close with Paradise city, i will be exrtremly pissed. Best encore close out song ever!!!!!!!

the new line up isn`t bad, but sorry guys sometimes i don`t get you. i don`t know how old you are , but everybody who is a real gnr fan would go crazy if they reunit, and don`t say i like the new ones better.

does anybody know if you can get One day tickets for rock am ring... i already have tickets for novarock but i would like to see them at RaR too, but i don`t wnat to go 3 days, so 130 would be expensive.

in my eyes:

Gibson: looks awesome, just attracts everybody, great bluesy sound with the humbuckers, very solid,

Fender: awesome easy to play, as mentioned you can get a lot of different tunes out of it,

so if you are a beginner, go for the fender, much easier to play....but on the other hand, if you can handle a les paul or gibson and than get a fender in your hand you think you`re a pro at least it thought it!

and if you are a real beginner, go for a no name. i started on an acousitc, than a noname electric with a good amp, and you will still think the sound is amazing......you can save money if it turns out that your not going to continue for real!

i think no matter if this album will be great or not (it will be), i think it will easily go over 10 million sales.

i mean look, 8 million people attended the UYI world tour, and almost everybody from those people will by it! my sister attended two shows back than and she is totally out of gnr now, but she called me and asked me about cd, that she has heard rumors and so on, and what`s going on, and if we go to a show together.

so i think a lot of people will react the same way, by it cause they were there and liked it back than.

and don`t forget the "new" fans. i have a lot of players in my team i am coaching, and i played better for warm up, and these guys are all into hip hop. and a lot of them and people who were watching came over, never heard of gnr and were like "wow, that sounds great, who is it, nice voice ect....."....so o guess with the right promotion, a good summer festival tour with the band doning well shows, this album will sale a lot of copies.... .

and if it is really a masterpiece, or close to it......it will outsell pop and hip hop music by far.....

Well to throw in my 2 cents:

I like all three songs. They are different to everything else which is out there right now, and if i imagine that they will all be more "powerful" and better mixed on the cd, i really like one song better than the whole velvet revolver album, and i don`t think contraband is bad.

BUT: first i agree, you can not replace Slash, never ever....listen to old stuff, for example November rain, for all of you who play guitar too, probably the cheapest solo technically, but if you listen to hím play it, you`ll recognize he`s unique and one of the greatest players of all times!!

AND: i will buy the album, will go to NOVA ROCK and will listen to his stuff, but i don`t know if you need 14 years to make these songs, and sorry to bring that point up, but this, IS NOT Guns n Roses.... It is great but it IS NOT Guns n Roses......

but i think it is great he made the first step in public..... so i can hope all the members of the best group that ever existed won`t die without havin worked that out!!

it`s very good for beginners and even more. i own a epiphone les paul standart and it`s mor than enough for me. i tried i real gibson once and didn`t hear any difference till a real pro came up and played on it. and he said before you ever buy something expensive make sure you can get everything out of the old one.

so as mister bo said one time don`t spend too much on equipment make sure you practice. so i guess an epiphone will be a good choice.
