2001 The Blues / Street of Dreams is the only one I haven't managed to find...
-
I would love to hear OMG, but would never break the rules
-
I managed to get Silkworks, but missed the OMG and 2001 Blues. Is this the Roy Thomas Baker version?

I'd say money was tight around that point. Fortus had to do a short sale in 2012.

So i bought extras of the Los Angels night 1 (8-18) lithograph for the purpose of trades. I'm willing to trade for Vegas (4-8), Coachella (4-16), or Los Angeles (8-19). Shoot me PM if ya wanna swap.

I was gonna pass on the LA shows, but I've got a hunch these two shows are gonna be really special. If the boss lets me have Thursday off, I'm solo driving from Southern Oregon to Dodger Stadium on Wednesday night / Thursday Morning. 684 miles. Can anyone recommend a place I can park my car and sleep without being hassled by the locals/police ?
-
Driving up from Oregon after work on Thursday. Will probably head out to the venue noonish, give or take a few. Invested in some camping chairs for this go-round. Line-sitting for Vegas and Coachella was brutal, and I'm getting way too old for that shit.
From my understanding, the merch trucks outside have opened 3ish. I imagine its gonna be a mad dash for the lithographs. Are they limiting those to one per customer?

If you want the rail, be in line early. If you have back problems, bring a lawn chair for the long wait in line. Put the lawn chair back in your ride before doors. You meet fellow GnR fans in line, they'll be cool.

Seattle Show - Centurylong Field, August 12: I have one GA PIT 1 (Slash's Side) ticket I'm looking to exchange for one GA PIT 2 (Duff's side) ticket. Straight trade, we can do this the day of the show if need be. We have three people in my party going, and I want to make sure we're all in the same area. PM if interested.

I think its clear that Axl enjoys AC/DC a lot more than Guns. Listen to the way he sings those songs.
No emotional baggage or business-related burdens associated with the performance. Just him singing songs he loves, and busting his ass to earn the respect of the crowd.

The only songs that never grew on me were If the World, IRS, and Rhiad.
Those are the ones I always skip -- along with Scraped.

Another Pre-sale tomorrow (4-28) at 10 AM, password is dodgers
struck out on nightrain, hope I get pit tickets with this one!

Most people missed it, but right before Slash's 'Funny pose,' Axl totally fell on his ass while walking off the stage. Slash and Frank helped him up. It was surreal watching Slash pull Axl back onto his feet.

Slash had an off-night for Coachella. I think he hurt his hand. He was shaking it like he had picked up a hot-potato after some songs.

I'd like to think that the lack of Steven and Izzy is a brilliant marketing plan. They know fans are going to spend whatever it takes to see Slash Axl and Duff in 2016.
2017, the 30 year mark for Appetite, they do it all again with Steven and Izzy and we all cough up our cold hard cash a second time :).
Just conjecture

I struck out on pit tickets. I was in line for the Vegas show when they went on sale on the 8th cellular service was spotty :(. Looking for two. If someones plans come crashing down come august, hit me up.

Axl always wanted the drums on Chinese Democracy to sound like Teen Spirit. There's the solution right there. Re-record with Dave on drums and Slash on lead.

For all the awesomeness of last night, I was amused the most by an interaction between Axl and Richard towards the end of Slash's guitar solo. All blew his nose, and threw the tissue behind him. It landed on the riser behind him where Richard was playing. All turned himself, and mouthed, "aren't you going to pick that up?" Richard gave Axl a look and started playing the rhythm parts with his middle finger.

As much as I'd like to be there, I'm 18 floors up in the NYNY glued to my toilet. Don't go to Bubba Gumps shrimp, like, ever. Dolphin distribution will take place in line tomorrow. Look for the tall guy with the Adidas bag and the walking papers t-shirt.

Checked in at the NYNY. It just really hit me...this shit is happening.

Seriously, tracking this stuff down is hard. Does anyone remember the pre-chinese era of this forum? There would be thread about the leaks, but it would just be the original poster and 40 pages of people writing, "PM Me!"
Alas those days are over. I miss those days.
