Oh I'm sure people will still like it, it's not bad by any means just sounded a tad more forced, again not having ago at him for it as its completely understandable given the song but yeah, mainly the second verse I noticed.

Just watched Hells Bells from this show and I think it was the "roughest" one so far, if that's the right word for it. Like, it was rasp but it a bit forced? Idk, can't criticise him for it, it's a fucker of a song.

I made the mistake of reading some comments over at blabbermouth when they were showing clips from the recent shows.  The amount of drive by shit posts .  One post was calling Axl a fat princess or something along those lines because he didn't "suffer for his art" and stand during the show lol

I have to wonder though if a lot of these haters are just doing it because it's Axl, like, if Axl or his past behaviour wasn't really known would they have the same reaction?

jesus fucking Christ that thunderstruck clip.  He sounds vintage as fuck.

Man after the last few years i wouldn't of even considered it a possibility that he could pull off perfect crime, but now? He would fucking slay it. Just that thought blows my mind.

I really don't get it either and it pisses me off that they banding together and using it as a huge negative against Axl.

I think it's a case of they just don't like the sound of Axls screams compared to Brians (or admit that he actually sounded good) which fair enough, but like you said Axl was just trying to do the songs justice by doing what Brian did years ago.

But guyz he only sounds good because he can do screaming vocals and that's the only voice he has left. Lol

He sounds amazing, even on the non "screaming" songs he sounds great like rock or bust/rock & roll thunder. 

Surpassed all my expectations for sure.

Just listened to for those about to rock and I'm really surprised he had that much rasp left for the end of the show, those wails were terrific. 

I know some people will still bitch that it's not Brian and fair enough but even if you're not a Axl/DC fan you can't deny the the effort he's putting into this, it's insane.

Now he just needs to not destroy his voice and carry on with this enthusiasm for the gnr side of things.

Vocally he was insane, never thought I'd hear that kinda voice from the man ever again.  I can't help be worried though that he will blow out his voice and I really hope he doesn't. 

Weird that TNT and Deeds were a lowish point? He sounded great on the other Bon songs. 

Was he going back stage for oxygen at all? I didn't see the stream

I seriously can't believe how good he sounded on shoot to thrill, I know he said hells bells was the hardest and he sounded awesome on that and thunderstruck etc but damn, that was something else.

There's very brief moments where the rasp goes in that vid but fucking hell, there are other parts where he sounds vintage as fuck.

-edit- listened few more times now, not even sure if the rasp goes at all, I thought it did for a moment.

Overall this is fantastic. After the last few years I never thought he'd sound this good again

You shook me was one of the songs I was most curious to hear Axl on, and from what I could hear he sounded pretty good on it.
