Haven't read the thread, but imo who cares? It's no revelation some people hate Axl, much like there are some people that simply hate just about all vocalists. It's all subjective, not everyone's voice is for everyone. Some people don't like any type of screaming period, some people don't like personalities, therefore they hate their voice.
It's just all a bunch of junk, and why I pretty much hate all "top lists" when conducted by one person. Give me a large group sample and I might pay attention. Otherwise one persons opinion or a select few mean nothing to me. I don't give a damn.

Kick ass tweet. I always hated twitter until Axl got one.

Good, he killed it in London

Agree, don't mind people speaking their mind. But the repetition drives me insane. I heard ya once, need to say it 20 more times? Why?

Any and all gigs are great. I'd like to be in those clubs too, but at least they give me hope "hey, maybe one day."
After the past 10 years any news is good news, as long as it's not cancellations.

That's the one I want

My friend and I went and talked to the ticket office lady the day before the show. Asked her a couple questions about how the ticket sales were goin, and she gave us some of those posters. LOL I went to some mail store and bought a tube to make sure it didn't get damaged. I'm framing that thing.

Yeah I meant "stubbornness not look past it," but y'all know what I meant.
-
Sucks for them, might be true might not, but their stubbornness to look past it kept them from from some good music

this place is now becoming a HTGTH-like worship site.
Well excuse people for being excited about Guns N' Roses at the current time.
I honestly don't understand all the people that have a problem with backing Axl or the band.
Me? I'm just a GNR fan, I really don't do the "this is what Axl should do" or "this is what Axl should have done" stuff. It's his show, and like he says he doesn't work for me, I choose to spend my time following GNR, I choose to support them, I ain't being asked to or forced. I mean if Axl, or anyone else who doesn't know me, dropped by my work or class and started telling me everything I was doing wrong, what to do or say, and bashing me, I'd say fuck off.
I don't have a problem with anyone venting their own personal opinions about the band, but it's just fucking stupid to attack people for being pro-GNR. Lumping them all into the same category.
I saw them in London and they put on one hell of a show. I have no complaints and am excited to see them again as soon as possible. Just because others have their own opinions on how things should be or not be doesn't mean anyone else is obligated to see things the same way.

No think it wa just 2 songs acoustic
I think it might have been the whole thing, only 2 are listed though because there is video showing it
Kaneda said Ron was on acoustic the whole night

How was the crowds reaction? I know they didnt sing along, but were they into it? I'm interested in what non diehards think.
-
I guess they didn't mind the cameras this show, as in that vid there are flashbulbs going off constantly

I mean, how does a man sound 10x better in 2010 than he did in 2002?
Agree, it makes no sense really
But damn what a ridiculously great surprise
When my friend and I went to Canada to see them, all my friend kept saying was "how the fuck can he sing these marathons like this so close together and never miss a beat?" Fuckin incredible.

Thanks for the recap, sounds surreal.
You're one lucky guy and I'm happy you got to experience that.

Loving this set list.
Do you think its more earlier stuff since its not really a GNR crowd?
Yeah, I'd have guessed that's what they'd do
