played the 09 demo and couldnt get on with it, then tried 10 and it was much better

I was the same with 07 and 08, never got 09 though.

My Spurs team were truely awesome on 08, I managed to get Messi for about 8 million

Gap years are like that and thats more or less exactly how my first one panned out this year. Taking a second one now aswell so hopefully this one will be more interesting.
