Alfred hates Slash because he wants DJ back in the band. When I interviewed Billy Rowe, Alfred left a tweet that said #SlashMurderedToddCrew. I wish I screen capped that. His goal is to break up the reunion and get NuGNR back. I wish I was making this up.
He bashed Perla on my show and on his FB. I'll have to go back and find where in eps 31/36. Said things similar to the Blabbermouth article.
I'm always amazed (don't really know why) at how unhinged people can be.

Well, the post is fairly recent. If they are behind it, though, it's a fandom ending event for me.
That would be the end for me as well.

This all sounds insane. Since when did GN'R become a criminal enterprise?

Interesting to see his hair transplant scar. Wonder if he used the same surgeon as Axl.....
That's totally what that scar is. Nice catch. The vanity of the stars.

There's some thick bastards about these days And what the hell do you mean Joey rarely grabbed the mic and said shit to the audience, he did it all the fuckin' time. They weren't long rock star rants, it was quick, a couple of sentences but he did it almost every gig. How do you make the connection between Axl writing the setlist for Joey and the set being consequently some kind of an Axl diss?
I think this is a language issue and not a comprehension issue.

I don't know which moment you mean, but if you mean the moment of this interview, there were other interviews of the same time where Slash vented about Paul Tobias.
true, this isn't a slight on Slash. He is trying to make himself look better though. Trashing Izzy was a way to appease Axl's mindset at the time. It's things like this article that make me believe he actually said the things at Axl's house in 2005.

He changed his tune about Izzy in his '96 interviews. I guess the alternative of Paul Tobias was too much to take...
or Slash just says what's good for business at that moment.

I had a sealed, '87, rape cover AFD, complete with Dead Pool hype sticker. I ended up selling it for a LOT of money because I was never going to listen to it and I have the AFD reissue from a few years back that sounds excellent.
Nice.

Nice score. I have my fathers Vinyl AFD from 1987. However, it's the Skull Cross cover.

new Material or just a best off?

I really like the guitar work on the song. But the song itself is hard to listen to. I don't see a need to include it on the box set, this is Axl's call, and I think it's the right one.

I mean, did he not call us all “dildoes” and get kicked out of one of the biggest band’s admist their hugest tour in the most unprofessional way possible? It’s not like we’d sit here and call Gilby Clarke or someone of the sort, a loser; there’s reasons for this shit.
Gilby is a hard working Musician. Pitman has always had a cush role in the Music business.

Yeah he's a boat load of laughs. It's a more of a dissapointment that someone you looked up to as a kid is well, a kid.
Well, the guy did have a few strokes. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that has an impact on your emotional control.

True, but, well, Adler called it 'Adler's Appetite', Slash called it 'Slash's Snakepit' and Axl called it 'Guns N' Roses'. That's the difference
Adler should have called his band "Main Vein". Missed opportunity if you ask me.

I'm not middle of the road with much of anything. I checked out three links the other night
Completely cringe worthy on many levels and yeah I don't anticipate throwing any time or money into that endeavor they have going.
I feel the same way with some aspects of GN'R. That whole vegas DVD debacle, Rock in Rio, Ashba. All cringe, it's okay to not like everything a band does.

There is absolutely no material difference between Ashba and the personnel department of Adler's Appetite. Adler hired all of these Jizzy Pearls and Chips Z'Nothings and Rose hired DJ Ashba. They are all equally cockrockers; they're all are questionable musically; they're all are corny. In fairness Slash went through a few of these Sunset Strip types also with Snakepit.
Can't argue with that.

I'll drink a case of Ashba water any day over listening to that dork butcher Guns songs while dressing like an extra out of a bad Nelson video.
You seem to have strong feelings about this, have you tried just not listening to this band?

I'll drink to that,
I have no issue with them living as though it was 1987, after all it was when they came of age and found their sound. We're all a product of our time. Just find all the whining annoying. All of their woe is me.

As I said before, love the music. Don't care for the personalities.

As the drummer of Appetite I'll always love Steven's work. I do however, find him hard to take serious. He's just to out there for me. But so are the rest. Love the music, but don't care for the personalities.

I think Ashba may be a little preoccupied with his own troubles.
