I just assumed it was ashes settling. I mean, there was a LOT of burning. But it was too white, I guess.  

From what I remember of where the books were left, the only one that is walking towards what happened in the show is Tyrion. The rest... I mean, the old man can be giving them the same endings, but he will definitely get there in a better way, OR he could be going somewhere totally different. I have no idea, and frankly if the books were released today I wouldn't even want to read them. I'm mad at Bran doing nothing but being a creep and then sitting on the throne and Jon just being sent away fro no fucking reason. Give me some time and I will once again have faith that George will explain it all.

I wasn't expecting much and still they managed to disappoint me. The only... Let's say joy for lack of a better word I found in it was the bit with Dany and the bit with Sansa

The rest was shitty. The Daenarys thing went as expected and how it's been building up for years, but the rest... Good Lord! 

There was a time Tyrion would be smarter than that.

Jamie had this whole internal battle to just act like it never happened.

Cersei deserved much much worse.

I thought Arya would do more, though I think (or more like hope, with this shitty writing) she will do it all next episode.

I must have other complaints, but I'm too pissed to remember them all.

Wow, this is really beginning to piss me off. I hope Varys kills Dany in her sleep or something and Jon ends up on the Throne, even though he's an ass and didn't even pat Ghost who fucking lost an ear for him.

If you watch behind the scenes video, it's clearly something D/D came up with up with.

They dropped most of the mythology of the books then added their own.

Also valyrian steel and dragon glass in season 5 suddenly killing wights. In books Dragon Glass can kill a white walker (other), but not a wight (undead). Show was just inconsistent with that part of the story for the purpose of TV.

Don't get me wrong, I thought this was a great episode until the resolution, but it's to be expected. They can't do plot or consistency, but they do great fan service along with the tits and dragons the show has been sold on since season 5. It's worked out well for them.

Well I do like me some fanservice. Hahaha. The little things with Sansa and Tyrion give me hope.

I just want George Axl Martin to come out with The Chinese Winds of Winter Democracy already.

But what does bother me a little, is that the white walkers sort of always felt like the main antagonist here. The one that binds the present with myths and legends. The big one. Seems a little anti-climatic to be done with them entirely and move on with people waging war against people. So yeah... Three-eyed raven? Long night? Prophecy? Now it's just people fighting people and not even an elephant in sight.

Except the show skipped that part of Maggie's prophecy in season 5 for some reason. They also screwed it up by her having a random line about another miscarriage in season 1. D/D  supposedly didn't think the show would go much past the red wedding.

I watched the first episode and wanted to claw my eyes out. Claire is boring as fuck, and the whole thing was pretty much watchable because of Spacey, who might be a big douche, but can fucking act. I was going to power through, but you have convinced me to just drop it and go ahead and look for a spoiler. 

They should just cancel this. For fuck's sake, it's been annoying since Freak Show.

I hate that it's hard for me to abandon a show once I've started it, even if it sucks balls.

Honestly I'm kind of lost. And who the fuck was Morales? I honestly don't even remember him.

I just want Gabriel to fucking kill Gregory with his bare hands.

Uhm, I think there is a curfew. In 2011, they hit the stage after 2 am due to heavy rain. I remember something about Axl wanting to play more songs, but at about 5 am the festival told him to end it. So if they start on time, there should be no problem with curfews, but if by chance they are VERY late, I think there is.

Also, they say it starts at 12:25 am, but I watched both maroon 5 concerts and Timberlake last weekend (yes, go ahead and judge me ) and they all started at 12:40 am actually.

Watching it, it seems like a good episode. But then you look back at it and WOW. I've written fanfiction better than that. 

Everything works out (with the exception of Vyserion), no one major dies, it's like Disney, not GoT. I hope the fucking books come out before WW3.

And the romance... hahahaha. Jesus. But yeah, I wanna see that going down.
