  2. Batman, you are talking about the right to self defence. In a country such as america where firearms are fairly easy to obtain, then I fully agree with you.

However, if firearms were banned there would be no need, the chances of someone entering your house that owns a firearm would be greatly reduced, however he is still entering your house.

I agree upon if a human is about to commit, or you fully think that a human is intending to kill someone, you can kill that person out right as it would be to save human life. However, the escalation of force rule should be applied.

I'm military, I've used a gun in real situations in Afghan, I've spent years in training and at that time I was fully briefed on my rules of engagements and how to use the escalation of force. When i don't require the weapon no more it is locked away in a secure armoury and is guarded 24 hours a day. Which angers me why some kid just out of high school can walk into a shop and get a permit and walk around with it in his jeans if he wanted.

What possible situation in America or any other first world country would someone need to own a gun. It only makes people buy guys for protection because other people have gun, so out of fear...every one owns a gun so there's always going to be the nutcases who get there hands on them very easy.

But yeah, if I was an american, I'd own a gun, simply because I wouldn't trust whoever breaks into my house, in a perfect society no civilian should own a gun. Guns are designed to kill humans and should only be used in that situation when required by law enforcement or military.

Cool, I see your points and are very valid in many ways. I am glad you do agree with self defense. Some don't, reguardless. :shrugs:

I believe in self defence (e.g. pistol/ shotgun), but being able to own thousands of rounds of ammunition and have assualt weapons is kind of stretching it to say the least.

  3. The healthcare system "costs" in the US needs reform no doubt.

the Health Care itself is the best in the world.

the burden of this "best in the world" cost is on the middle class that pay the bills. Those of us with Health insurance are paying

out of control premiums with no end in sight.

Obamacare does nothing to address that.

Obamacare is nothing more than another social program.

call it an expansion of existing Medicaid, because that's all it is.

The Government beauracacy that will ensue will not only do nothing to lower my healthcare costs, it will now raise my taxes to support it.

There's a good reason why the administration put off the impact of the costs until after the 2012 election.

The American people, the ones paying the bills and getting the screw job have already tried to tell Obama we dont like it

in the midterm elections when we blasted their ranks with unprecidented turnout to show it.

Even Masssachusetts sent a republican to fill Ted Kennedys seat to try and stop it.

And he decided to bypass the standing order of business to ram it through anyway.

There is no economic fairness in Obamas policies, he is nothing more than a pandering class warfare warrior

that was in the right place at the right time.

So we will speak a little louder in November.

The US is 36th in the world for healthcare not first, its not even close.

  4. To be honest I think the majority of us can see that this show is for nothing except the cash. It's not like they're playing to a "GNR crowd". It will likely just be a load of people who will only cheer when they hear the odd song that they once heard on the radio. It's bollocks and I can completely understand Ron being pissed off about having to do it.

Probably, but then again it could be a russian guy who had been a gnr fan from when he was young :shrugs:

  5. I think it's the opposite. 2002 had the most technically skilled musicians but did not look like a band. More like a bunch of pros Axl got to play with him. 2006 and this line-up DID feel like a band. 2006 felt like they were in perfect harmony, like they were the tightest band. This line-up seems like they love doing what they do and get a long better than any other line-up. They have fun now.

    I agree with this post.

    Me too

The 2002 band just seemed to be a bunch of random guys playing together who had no relation to eachother

  7. It's cool that people are meeting Axl and all, but if you meet him why don't you ask him something important, like "is BITW a real GNR song," "what is the status of the next album and what is it called," "what ever happened with the better video," etc.

Instead we just have a bunch of kids gushing all over the place like it's fucking beatlemania or something!!! :rofl-lol:

You think he would answer those type of questions?
