Does anyone else look at Slashes social media thingie and think he's a bit of a pranny?  Posting pictures of birds with their tits out all the time, come on man, you're fuckin' pushing 60, it's like you never seen a pair of tits before.  I mean each to his own and everything, i love a pair of tits as much as the next man but have a bit of dignity eh son?  Skulls and tits and zombies ad infinitum, honestly!

You can at anytime unfollow him.

I agree it's about money. I don't think Izzy is 100% reluctant to come back as a hired hand or he would not have come back in 1993. He wouldn't have played those gigs with Axl in 2006 and beyond. Axl admitted later that his management told him Izzy demanded a ton of money and they paid it to him without Axl's knowledge. It was presented to Axl as just his buddy coming back to play shows with him whereas Izzy was cashing in pretty good behind the scenes. That scenario would not be able to happen this time without Axl/Slash/Duff knowing exactly what Izzy wants.

Do you have the article where axl said that what you said?

Such a stupid topic. Richard is incredible. The guy is soo underrated, he should be lead guitar for guns. He can play circles around Slash and Buckethead. Everybody here knows this.

And who cares about Izzy? Only mulletheads. Richard has so much more stage presence. I love how he punches his guitar and makes those guitargasm faces during every song. I wish he would do it more. Slash should hang back and stop showboating so Richard can shine more.

There is something different about Slash's playing that doesn't feel quite right, or quite "slash".

Finally the songs are sounding like guns n '  roses and people still complaining... I really don't know what these people want...

I cant drink the Kool aid

The Chinese tracks..., well, Slash's attempt at them have been awful. The solo was the only damn thing that saved TIL, and Slash just butchers it. Doesn't even attempt it.

TWAT was awful. I realize that is their first time, but still. Practice the shit ffs.

Done being negative. Back to complete awe and disbelief and what I'm actually seeing.

    Locomotive needs to be incoming!!!

To me it kinda shows that his EGO trumps everything else. No big news though, he likes to make everything about himself.

If it was about GNR, and not about him, he could have said that he's happy for the band, or happy fro Axl, Slash and Duff, or happy for the fans who wanted this so badly.

Like it or not, this is HUGE in the history of GNR, and maybe even a big event in the history of Rock & Roll. His bloated ego doesn't let him address that fact. Comparing seeing one of these shows to watching some tv series? Maybe that's one of the reasons he is not behind the drum kit playing WTTJ with the rest of the band.

This has nothing to do with his skills as a drummer, but his attitude.

He´s not obliged to watch a show that´s not even live on any channel...

Think About You would've been great I've never seen it being played. At least Don't Cry got played last night and it was good to see Slash killing it  :headbang:I think My Michelle was on that list too good to see that got played as well.

Rock in Rio 2001 they played it. With the "guitar hero" Paul Tobias.

    How so?

In the streams, the people on the floor seemed to be into the show.

Is it because you didn't see any drunken fights breaking out?  Personally, I think it's great that the fans on the floor were actually interested in watching the band onstage instead of getting into drunken brawls with people. I'm guessing it's because many of GNR's diehard fans are older and wiser, and really appreciate the chance they have to see this band play together again.

Edit:  Or are you referring to all the people filming events with their phones instead of actually watching the event? If so, you have a good point.

yeah... i mean looks like they are most interested in filming than enjoy the moment... it seems that for a band must be so boring... i miss the headbangers!!!

    sorry for the bad english...

I was watching last night on periscope the show and thinking, technology is amazing, right? back in the day, the only way to watch a show that you were not there was if someone recorded or the band recorded pro shot or some tv station bought the rights to it, now you can just pick your phone out of your pocket and stream the whole thing to people in the whole world

    yeah... but...

the crowds looks like shit... (in all the world)

nobody enjoys the shows anymore the way it should be...
