  1. for those of you are saying he sounded better in 2006 than now go listen better live at rock AM or whatever it was and then go listen to my video of better from edmonton... no comparison whatsoever... AND anyone who hasn't been to the 2009/2010 shows can't really comment. I've been to three shows and trust me he sounds better than he has since the 80's... this is coming from someone who has listened to and owes hundreds of gnr bootlegs.

I've since GNR in 93, 2006 x4 and will been 5 times in 2010... the dude sounds amazing...

This dude speaks the truth. I drove basically 13 hours each way to Winnipeg to see this guy sing. I was not let down.

I was mabey 20 or 30 feet out from the front, and hell, half of the time I just rocked out with my eyes shut taking in his vocal might.

Just fucking WOW! I was literally blown away by his performance, even more os because of the past decade of hit and miss.

There were a couple times it seemed as if he was about to slip, but it appeared he realized it and quick as a blink resumed kicking my ass.

    Thanks again, Axl.

BTW, Go see these guys, or you'll regret it,. You tube is not doing them justice, and fuck you, asshole customs agents!

  2. The stuff they are selling at the show is pretty nice as far as price and quality goes, variety too. If I were not a cpu dunce, I'd post a shot or two of my shirt. My more intelligent other half will be back home in a couple days, so hopefully then.

  3. I was there, and it's really just a bad shot. The dude looked great and sang incredibly, and in fact, isn't that what matters?

BTW, where's THAT photo of "grandpa" slash? Surprised no one posted that here yet...

  4. I've been a huge guns supporter. Saw them first in '87.

LOVED the last guns tour. Thought it was wicked.

This show was totally different. The band was tight, but the crow was lame. Free Press said 7500. I'd say less than 5000.

I will never go see GNR again unless there is a reunion. Everyone I talked to thought the show sucked.

    Obviously so did Tommy.

Bye bye GNR. I'm done with you.

I was there, and I actually thought that Tommy was being the punk he is, and a little bit tounge and cheek. Compared with the young crowds The Replacements played for back in the day, I'm sure this lot was a bit more sedate, and perhaps a bit too sober.

And don't worry, the security escorted the thrower/s out, and the crowd seemed plenty respectful the rest of the way. Not to say there still wern't any stupid fucks around, but it's a rock show, and the planet holds more than a few dumb asses.

Kickass show, BTW. It was like listening to my favorite band on the world's greatest sound system for three hours. Bach kicked ass too! I could go on and on...but won't.

Basically, if you weren't there, f. off with the negativity.

    Sorry about old Mojo, Axl.

Thanks for a GREAT show, all involved.

  5. Cool topic.

The first was Kiss' Dynasty (should have been Die Nasty) on vinyl when I was four. Purchased with my mom and brother at Prange Way. I'll never forget that day, as rock has dominated a set percentage of my mind ever since. My older brother left with Abba's Gretaest Hits, which unfortunatly for him did not come with a kickass poster. That Dynasty poster was taped on the wall beside my bed for a couple of years tainting my dreams. Still have the LP, and it still kicks ass!

The most recent two would be The Offspring's Ignition on vinyl from The Exclusive Company, and just yesterday I was the winning bidder on Ebay paying a jester's ransome for a GNR Live Era 4 LP set. Hope she gets here safely!

As far as my 1st ever  post at Mygnr, you folks are looking at it.
