  1. By Axl Rose not showing up and letting Steven Adler,Slash & Duff show up to accept the award for GNR he admits defeat that Slash,Duff & Steven ARE GNR. Thats what I think, Axl should have gone to just take control of the situation at least.

Thats more hurtful to the new band than just going there accepting the award & leaving, he didn't have to perform. Kind of weak not going there to confront the BS that has plagued the new band. Thing is, Slash has a new cd coming out that he's going to want to promote,Duff has Loaded,Izzy has his dirt bike and Pawn Shop and Steven has his band and Matt is trying to get a singer for VR so him,Duff and Slash can get back to business, a full on reunion isn't what would happen, the fans just wanted one last show while Axl can still sing. The original guys have too much stuff going on to throw away just to derail Axl's new guns.

:rofl-lol: The obvious reason is because it is a total disrespect to what he believes (whether you believe it or not makes no difference) is the now present line-up of Guns N Roses. The same Guns N Roses your beloved Slash was in.

Admitting defeat would be Axl doing a reunion and taking the money. How hard is that to understand?

  2. I don't really think Axl cares that much about that stuff anymore. He doesn't seem to be a consumed with all that negativity, which is nice.

Exactly. Although he used the term 'cancer' he really just meant to avoid Slash as best he could and leave it at that. Whether anyone wants to accept that or not. You think Axl is that much of an ass to say 'cancer' because Slash's mom had it your out your of your fucking head.

There's now one less mystery surrounding Guns N' Roses' entrance into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: Green Day will deliver their induction speech. While Slash, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler and Matt Sorum have all indicated they'll be present at the April 14th ceremony in Cleveland, members Axl Rose, Izzy Stradlin and Dizzy Reed have yet to publicly confirm their attendance. If Rose doesn't show, it's unlikely that the group will perform – and it's unclear whether or not Green Day will play in their place.

Somebody pay for Liam's ticket and get his ass on a plane. Or maybe he'd "rather walk." :rofl-lol:

  4. I randomly found this clip while browsing through old Strokes concerts on youtube. Thought it was pretty funny/awesome. It's not often you see him do stuff like that.

    30:55

He also played "NYC Cops" with them at 14:00, but it's not exactly a good performance tbh.

haha i don't think he is even in the right key for the solo

  5. Axl or no one!

It has to be all 5 original members performing or they shouldn't perform at all. I definitely don't want that singer from Alterbridge. He sucks!

If for some reason Axl can't sing, then let some other band perform a GNR song.

No other singer but Axl should perform with the other original members. That would just suck big time!

The other guys deserve a moment in the spotlight, even if Axl won't give it to them. Steven Adler has been through hell and back, and I'd love to see him get 10 minutes on stage with Slash, Izzy and Duff. I really don't think that's too much to ask for.

The spotlight is even being on a stage together! its a godamn miracle!

    (if it happens.)

As the crowd inched towards the exit, "My Way" blasted from the P.A. I'm not sure if this was an Axl selection, but it made perfect sense. He's always been a man that has done things his way, regardless of what anyone else thinks. In two months he's getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Regardless of what happens at the ceremony regarding a reunion, it'll certainly all go down precisely his way. That's the only way he's ever operated.
