  1. trying to get the bootleg vinyl site back on soon, then you can find out if there is one that rings a bell......

I got the site running again but the php wont fetch the data yet for some reason..... www.spookeend.nl/gnr (i'm not a ict man myself....)

many bootleg vinyls with demo's have the same tracks in various combinations.....

  2. I think Guns N Roses was to hit the Southern America's there with the Use Your Illusions tours and albums, and the previous stuff was not that well know there yet, back then, so they made some quick released stuff to promote the old stuff as the new stuff was gonna hit the charts soon! Time-wise it's an interesting thing there....

It would make sense there are so many variations as they did not make like 10000's of items at the same time, so there are "re-prints" and pressings after that, including all numbers are being "renewed" (numbers as in Cat. No.'s and matrixes)

  3. what facebookgroup!?! :max:

It's not that easy to find, or, well, most times expensive. But the real fun is the Gold Stamped thing on the back, marking it a promo item!

ow and the Cross Cover from Canada, again with yet another gold stamped promo stamp, that i got from ebay, it was badly listed, so lucky for me. The No Brasil i got "local" ... (off-line)

  4. You may have seen one along the others, but as far as i know, only one ever popped up for sale before. This is a recovered item from my box of old stuff (like put in there when i moved out my parents house 17 years ago.....)

I posted it on my site, and after there was some talk about it, i asked my friend, from who i got it, more information. It took some diggin. as the chain of stores no longer exist... But the information is correct, to the best of our knowledge.

There were other silly one time only things made back then, not only for Guns N Roses. Just instore promo displays.

I do know the person who has the other, and i happen to know he bought it back then from Holland too, but i think that has been some while ago.

For comparing, a (as i have seen some more of those and there were some variations like empty and filled) more common Canada made TSI can went for about 300 usd a while back.

I think Tim can tell more about those really, as he know's about this stuff much more as i do really

And, price wise, yeah it's a lot, i do realize that, so, open for offers! But, well, it's a rare collectible....

  5. There are a few arround, i have it, but, well, i do know what is on it, and what show and what tracks, as they dont match the sleeve or labels....

It's almost the same as I wanna watch you bleed, the sleeve is, but the content is not and the label is not too.

Does anyone know a proper name to this bootleg?
