  1. Hello,

I'm just trying to spark some interest for my calendars and poster book that I'm trying to tell on ebay.

I won't do any trading through here, unless you make a very good offer.

    The calendars

    The poster book

    Thanks

Is it anything like this : http://www.spookeend.nl/gnr/archives/20-tear-out-photo-book

if not, would you send to Holland? Would be cool to have for 10 GBP incl. (normal) shipping (if it's not the same as the one on my site)

Might even be into the calenders, to scan.... If the photo's are bit unique.....

  2. Is there a professionaly recorded live version of shadow of your love?

There is a Live Version on the b-side of the It's So Easy 12" Vinyl and 12" Vinyl Picture Disc. It's also on a special Aussie CD single of November Rain wich comes with a bonus disc that included the song.

There is a Shadow of Your Love Studio Demo version as the b-side on Live and Let Die.

Interestingly when the band were looking for a producer for AFD they got Mike Clink to do a "try out" on Shadow of Your Love. However, this version has never come out even though Slash has said it was a version that the band really liked. Later when Shadow of Your Love was released as a B-side on LALD they instead used an even earlier version of the song recorded with Manny Charlton at Sound City in June 4-5 1986.

The Live version is also on "Live From The Jungle" EP, from Japan. Recorded live at the marquee club, London, 28/6/87.

The Demo version is also that Hollywood Rose / Rose Tattoo album thingy, The Roots Of Guns N' Roses.

  3. Well, you have seen pix of my "miss-test-press" which has a red rim IN the normal black rim, and a red/pink "mist" over the front and back.

Can you compare Sound Quality??, and, have you seen more of the same items? As i think mine is kinda of a one off, the sound is really bad, and therefore i think it is miss-press.

Just wondering.... As all were made in Germany (presumed) it would not be specially made for like group-members or so? Or promotion stuff, as they don't have anything like special numbers or notes with it?

The wider black and red rimmed i can imagine are tests, or perhaps real early, first presses? The gold one would be specially made, since that color is not anywhere else on the disc?

Little extra question, how are the back-sides lined out compared to the fronts? If i flip the regular one, horizontally, the back is perfectly aligned to the front, both have the same top and bottom. The red one i have is way of allotment.

Ow, can you weigh them? The red on is 50 grams more heavy as the the normal one here.

the thick black and gold rim line up perfectly , the red rim is slightly to the right but the common thin rim is upside down , ive noticed with yours that there is no red rim on the rear of the disc but yet yours still has a thin black edge on the front of the disc , on the gunsnflower discography it says there are 3 versions , a white rim , red rim and black rim , im wondering if the common version(thin black line) would be the white rim ?? your red rim with thin black outer would be the red rim and my thick black rim would be the black rim ? but there again where does that leave the red and gold ones ive got with the bands on the rear ? perhaps troccolli might know cos if anyone knows he will ?? all the picture discs weigh the same weight to so maybe yours is a test pressing for the picture disc ??

Hey guys, I'm convinced that these are all just test pressings and/or mispressings. Though it would not be the first time I've been wrong. I know that the released "regular" version should just have the black border. To everyone with a test pressing and/or mispressing of this item: I hate you.

    We love you too..... rock3

Would there be any way to figure out where the German pressings were made? Like, what company? I mean, hard to believe Geffen "owned" a pressing plant, in Germany, or anywhere? Universal pops up, BMG too, but what would have been the name and location of such factories? If we could find someone with experience in making lp's, we could learn a damn lot about these things?

I am also on a HiFi board, covers vinyls in big matter, will ask arround

  5. I have had this for a long time, and though i am not sure it is real, well, officially released, it does have a very good quality.

Now i found that there are 2 versions. One from Brasil, and the one i have, made in Mexico. Is either of those really released ever?

Not that it is of any significance, just want to know where to place it on the site soon.

I also have the version with the cross sleeve on Picture Disc, but that is of such poor quality, that i am sure that it's fake, bootlegged. It is also relatively new, somewhere early 2000, where the one with the rape scene is at least from before 1992.

  6. that is an insane price. Anything upto 75$ i could understand, however, it is not even that rare nowerdays. In Italy 2 are for sale for a long while for under 50$, and still not being sold.

I hope to receive my copy anytime in the next month orso, along with a few other items (collecting them at one point to get them shipped together)

And, it did cost me about 25$, and i am very happy with that.

  7. added two more comics.

I am re-doing all the comics i have (8 in total) by photographing them trough/under a Plexiglas plate (to make the book flat) and editing them in photoshop. I can't photograph directly because you would see the camera reflected or the flash. It is a lot of work, about 2 hours each book. Both are for download too, in good size, 850x1300@100dpi (with slight watermark)

I also found out that not all comics are that great to read, Huh some are just plain weird stories. The ones i put up now are good though, nice images too.

Hope you like the effort, when i am done with the rest, i will post again here.

  8. been busy, a lot with the site.

Changed some stuff because of some script errors. Main thing is, the lot is working again.

And, now for show and some for load, some tour-books, press releases and photo books.

Filling the site slowly, with more information on the boots, and other vinyls.

    http://www.spookeend.nl/gnr/

Hope you enjoy a short visit. The site is not fully packed, but pretty well sorted with images and nice collectibles

  9. still, nobody who has the actual "Get in the ring II" picture disc bootleg? I think it is one of the last picture discs i am searching images for right now......... FOUND IT, would like some information though, what is on it?? And, perhaps better images, and the tag, i don't have that......

Found one new one, Live In Japan Picture Disc, got one lame image, would love better stuff

And, the Under the Black Hat 12 inch bootleg, but there is no info on the cover or the sleeve, neither on the disc tags (centers) so i have no clue what is on that either......

Any input is good to me, really

  10. I know that there is a LP Bootlegs where the Sao Paolo 92's show is recordered..

Do you know something about that?

only brazil recording i know is the "Guns N Roses In Rio" vinyl bootleg. There was no GNR show in Brazil in 1992, 1991 they were on january 20th and 23rd here, Maracana Stadium, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

The lp boot of this show has a large part of the 20th, but is sadly not perfect. There are songs cut and rants left out......

I have pix of front, fold out and back if wanted?

December 10th, 1992 - First show of two at Anhembi in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Played despite torrential downpour.

December 11th, 1992 - Second show in Sao Paulo was postponed 24 hours. The site and access to the venue were flooded. In a press statement Axl apologized: "We hope that everyone who was planning to come to the show tonight can make it tomorrow. As we proved, both here and in Bogota recently... none of us are afraid to get wet!" In this instance, the promoters and local authorities insisted that the conditions would be too risky for the fans.

December 13th, 1992 - Show at the Autodromo in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After it the band takes a month's break before the next leg of the tour.

I've lost my list of available audo/video or not, but it seems I may have nothing from these shows myself either...

When your right, youre right, and i have nothing of these dates (was bit ignorant to think if i don't have it they did not perform, sorry) I looked in my list of shows, and there was no Brazil in 1992, but that don't mean they were not there offcourse, sorry.

I can't recall any vinyl boot that has that show, but then again, i don't know all that is out, yet........

There was one of that dates videotaped, right?

  12. Well, i have been out of GN'R land for some time, but, sleeping on my hard-drives was some stuff, i always wanted to do something with......

I am a vinyl kind a dude, even when cd's hit the stores, i wanted lp's....

Now i have tried to make a show site, where people can find information on vinyl Guns N' Roses items. I kinda got more into the Bootlegs, for now, working hard on completing the "official" part. For now, i have listed over 70 LP boots, however, not all are provided with the images, at least 60 are........

It is not a discography, nor will it have everything on it. There is to much to display, so i go for the things with nice sleeves (no juke-box promo's) and the really rare stuff (brazil promo of So Fine for example)

www.spookeend.nl/gnr is the link (old gnrcdcovers.tk place, link is dead though)

Well, let me know, and please, if you see something missing, well, i would love to add it.
