Even back in the day Axl & Slash were the center of attention.

Slash wasn't even close to being in the center until that AMA mishap. And even then Axl was the "star'. Then the band broke up, and Guitar Hero happened, so Slash then became within the center while Axl was slowly pushed out.

the guy who recorded SCOM said there were "maybe 20000??" (see comments), so I think maybe (and according to some videos, especially Shackler's) there was more than 6k....but...whatever...

Too many songs from CD. Most people going to these shows want to hear the "hits." It'll be a quiet crowd if this is indeed the setlist.

Or you can look at the scenario as the glass is half full. Plenty of opportunities for beer refills and piss breaks.

Yea it is woop-de-do! I would rather take the worst song on Chinese Democracy than listen to "the other one" play with Fergie, Pussy Cat Dolls, or Cypress Hill. Hell I would take it over Slash's entire career other than GnR and the work he did with Alice Cooper.

well it will be great for them to be onstage, and find out what they played, see some photos.. personally i am interested as to which "Chinese Democracy" songs they will pull out.. and whether they will open with "WTTJ" or "Chinese Democracy"..

Oh Chinese Democracy is a must for anyone who liked the album. I would love it if they opened with Chinese Democracy and moved on to Shackler then Rhiad, kinda like the Appitite thing they did last time aroung. WTTJ is a great opener, it just could also work in the middle of the set-list as well.
