Umm yes they would. They didn't even want Slash in the beginning. He was annoying and followed them everywhere until they gave in. It's easier to find guitarists then it is revolutionary, legendary, hall of fame frontmen. So in that regaurd, the world would have known of Axl, and it's easy to say Slash got lucky in landing the GNR guitarist gig.

That was the point of this thread. They need to put that version of the band behind them, which means the songs they wrote too.

No one knows Axl's voice better than Axl himself. The most she would have said is "If the song is hard to sing and damaging your voice then it's better in the long term not to sing it." Anyone else would give the same advice.

I'm not dissing the setlist, and this isn't a "lets bitch about the setlist thread". Do you think BETA might have an influential piece in what GNR plays? I was thinking about this. Axl stated he doesnt like the way he sounded on a few songs, so is it maybe some of the songs are too long? Chinese Democracy has some long songs on it, so I could understand not wanting to play a few of em. TWAT in my opinion sounds and feels difficult to perform, so does Rhiad and Catcher. Or do you think he wasn't happy with the sound live ? Maybe BETA advises him in a health perspective? Thoughts.
