I was into to LK for a little bit but he seemed to stagnate and get boring.

Funny LK related story. I saw him at a free concert in downtown Indianapolis and while he played Let Love Rule a big brawl broke out in the crowd near us. I enjoyed the irony.

For clarification, I am not offended by the song. It is a good song. It is also a song that I only listen to at home. I'm not jamming this at busy intersections or anything or playing it on a jukebox at a bar. But what kills me are the people on here that can't wrap their tiny brains around the fact that these words are considered offensive to large segments of the population.

Back on topic tho: I think of the DJ/Axl duo right up there with Plant/Page, Jagger/Richards and Tyler/Perry as one of the greatest combos of talent EVER.

Personally, Layne era AIC pushed GnR out of my top spot.

With the current version of GnR as a live band, I'd take Radiohead, Tool, NIN, Arcade Fire, Soundgarden and Queens of the Stone Age over new GnR.
