With some sort of alternative version or tweaks to the original
-
Honestly, people make shit up like this all the time, you can never know it's true. Maybe the venue did, maybe they didn't. We'll never know because our only "proof" is someone's facebook post.

Are you serious? That's not the sense of a tour, man. They are touring through a lot of cities and visitors would be very dissapointed if they don't have a constant setlist.
I think it says something about the forum that my, what should be obvious, sarcasm is taken seriously.

I mean, I have to kind of agree. Playing the same songs every night? They should really be putting out a new album's worth of new material each show. Anything else is just a money grab.

I've heard the whole upper section was closed off. Estimates of 25,000 or so.
The 25,000 number is totally made up.

To be fair, Kansas City is a pretty small city among "major" cities.
I don't know where this 25,000 number is coming from. The stadium was pretty packed and I haven't seen an official release. I've been to world series games there (Kaufman is next door) with less traffic. It looked closer to 50,000 when I was looking around. If it really had only been 25000 I'm pretty sure empty sections would be obvious.

What difference would talking about their long term plans make? "Soon is the word" can mean another decade.
I'm sure if they did talk about their long term plans, people on here would find a way to be negative about that as well. Really, there is so much negativity/entitlement on this forum trying to wrap itself up as honesty, that makes me want to read here less and less often.

Do you think that the low turnout was partially due to the riot years ago?
I don't know what you mean by low turnout. When I would turn around during the show, it looked like every seat available was full.

Kansas City (Avery Drury Periscope) ---124 BPM (Beats Per Minute) Ferrer on Drums
AFD CD ---123 BPM Adler on Drums
Paris '92-- 124 BPM Sorum on Drums
Ritz NY-- 130 BPM Adler on Drums
'nuff said.

I was at the KC show and all I can say is, the negative comments here do not match what I saw. Yes, there were some sound mix issues here and there, but from where I stood, Row 8 from the stage, they sounded tight and everything was a lot of fun. Guy sitting next to me, his last Guns show was the St. Louis riot show, and he was blown away. Heard that a lot as I walked out. People blown away at how good it was.

Seems Axl had a sense of humor how that last bit of Coma went. It's all good. Everyone's having fun, mistakes will happen.

This sounds like every band who is just getting back together. Building a working relationship to tour, building a personal relationship back up, etc. Then, the next stage is, can they write together anymore. No one knows if that will still work, and I doubt they have tried to force that to happen yet.
So, seems pretty normal to me, and pretty positive. Let them work it out.

Fuck those drums are awful. They make it sound more like a cover band than the cover band it was before this.
Vocals are awful as well. He sings better in Ac/Dc than in his own band.
There's no way around it, the inclusion of those two clowns instead of Izzy and Matt totally destroys any chance of this being any good...
Why can't this band ever do anything RIGHT ?
So "RIGHT" is just want you want, and not what the people in the band may want? They don't owe you anything. If this destroys any chance of this being any good (you're most definitely wrong about that), then go away and bother some other fans.

Gosh, look how miserable Axl and Slash look walking, talking, and laughing. Obviously, this whole thing is about to come crashing down.

So what does this mean? End of GN'R? Or will GN'R become a repetitive cash grab tour made in AC/DC's time off?
Bit of an overreaction I'd say

Honestly, some of the entitlement in this thread is unbelievable. All I know is I got to see two amazing shows in Vegas, and another in two months by my favorite band of all time. Whether they are doing photoshoots together couldn't matter less to me. If you think they owe you anything above and beyond what they've announced they're going to do, you have some serious issues.

Anyone consider that maybe Slash and/or Duff don't want to do any press either.
-
Does it matter if they sell out every stadium? Isn't there usually a pretty big gap between the arenas and the stadiums ?
-
You know, he also canceled his own appearances twice. It wasn' t just Guns he wasn't doing.

From Slash's biography, it seemed pretty clear that Slash wouldn't play with just anyone. Has to be someone has has chemistry with. Can we just accept the possibility that Slash likes playing with Fortus and just move on ?

It's hard to beat aging, it's hard to sing sitting down, but whether every song is good or bad, we know that Axl cares. A co-worker was at last night's show and despite a broken leg, rain, and hail, Axl killed it

Well ,seems like Marc Canter give up on repairng his friendship with Axl, because after this little interview i would be surprised if TB or Axl or even Slash would allow him to enter to any GNR show....
I really think the author just took quotes from Canter Banter. There's nothing new mentioned that hasn't already been said.

This looks like they just took answers from this forum. Nothing new.

I'm relatively knew to this forum, but I don't get the Trunk hate at all. He doesn't pass on rumors, he promotes music that pretty much no one else does, he gets good guests on his various shows, and he tries to only report on truthful info.
Has anyone else noticed the stiffness?

I'll take "stiff" GnR playing fucking awesome and on time, over late, sloppy, and erratic GnR from the early 90's
