  1. "needles and knives" implies that maybe he is having surgery on his injury?

And can you recover from back surgery in 2 months?

Not sure if this has been addressed, but yes, depending on the type of surgery. I've had a back surgery and felt a million times better as soon as I woke up. I was restricted in terms of what I could do and lift for six weeks and then it was business as usual with no restrictions.

    Well that's good to know.

  2. Is there a video of Civil War available yet from this show? during the first half of that song Axl shook my hand! I'd love to see that!

This is the only one I've seen, but it's the last part of the song. Axl shook my hand during KOHD and I found the perfect video of it...and it cut off right as Axl was shaking my hand. :(

  3. Thanks for all the tips everyone. Right before canceling my Craigslist transaction, I decided to go on Live Nation and give it one last crack at the VIP tix...and what do you know? They had a fuckin' pair available. After showing them sold out since they went on sale..just my luck I guess.

    Thanks again.. cheers!

That's great news! Glad it worked out for you!

  4. I guess it's different at every venue. In Chicago, you could either get VIP through Ground Control or GA through Live Nation. Atlanta offered reserved balcony seating but it wasn't considered "VIP".

I think if it's just a reserved seat that you are buying, you should be good to go. It's the VIP ones through the GN'R website (Ground Control) where your ID has to match.

  5. It's hard to trust the printed out tickets - who's to say they haven't just made multiple copies of the same ticket? I know people who have been burned by this before.

I haven't heard of anybody checking IDs for the printed tickets but I know they did if you got the VIP tickets.

They definitely check ID's for the VIP tickets? Damn...those are the ones I was going to buy. They're sold out on Livenation too so even if I wanted to get them "legitimately" now I can't.

Yes, your ID has to match for the VIP tickets. It looks like they still have some available on the GN'R website though?
