it is 22h00 in madrid, as there is a 6 hour difference with the East Cost of North America. I doubt Axl will be on time and hit the stage at 22h00 sharp.... thanks for the setlist updates...

If it's broadcast live, it mean GNR hits the stage at 2h15 am Eastern Time.... I hope you folks at the show will not be standing since 6pm ....or earlier...

I wonder if they will play in Montreal, Philadelphia, Vancouver, St-louis, Oakland....and other non completed shows or no shows....

Hilfiger was probably scared Axl would steal his girlfriend from him... and who could blame her, she's probably with the designer for the cash.... and she probably told Hilfiger how Axl was great and when Axl shows up, the other goes bonkers !!! What a jerk that Hilfiger....Anyway, Hilfiger has no business being at the same place as GNR, he should be with the Pet Shop Boys or Depeche Mode!!!
I'm happy Axl did not go as low as slap this wimp's ass... it would have discredited him.... Anyway, Hilfiger's girlfriend will probably try to see Axl again so she can treesome with him and his girlfriend !!! Tommy can then go see Martin Gore of Depeche Mode !!!

I was there on Friday and here are my thoughts:
The Good:
-Axl's voice was superb
-Finck was way better in his playing than in 2002
-TWAT was the best new song live
-Baz was amazing
- Axl wasn't always going to the back of the stage like in 2002...
The Bad
-Axl was too low in the sound mix
-The guitar intros by Finck + the new guy were AWFULL !!
- The setlist of old songs is too permanent.... Should cut a few songs like Out to Get Me, My Michelle, Live and Let Die and Brownstone in order to play Use You Illusion songs that could be on rotation like Yesterdays, Civil War, Dear Horse, Estranged, Bad Obsession, Coma, etc....or at least rotate all of these songs in 4 or five slots.
- Chinese Democracy is not a very good song live and IRS was very ordinary.
-Stupid fat Motherfu**er who had nothing to prove than slam on the floor and therefore hitting a few girls... wanted to prove he's tough...with his leather gloves.... poor looser... PS you should watch the DVD at home and slam with you're smaller friends so you can look like a tough guy !!!

If the vocals were higher in the mix, there would not be that problem of not hearing Axl well when the crowd yells... In my view, he is too low in the mix on songs where he does not yell at 110%....

I was on the floor, about halfway between the center of the stage and the soundboard...and I was not 100% satisfied with the vocal soundmix. It would sound amazing when Axl was going all out and yelling on TWAT, My Michelle, Nightrain or when the band was playing less loud (Ex. The Blues, November Rain, Patience) but for some parts, we could barely hear Axl on ISE, WTJ, SCOM...
His mic wasn't loud enough when he's not all out... I would have had his vocals a bit higher in the mix on certain songs instead of having it fixed at the same level the entire night. I knoe the different ways Axl sings makes it difficult but I think the soundman could have done a better job !

Anyway Axl wants to look, he'll get more chicks that both of these guys can dream about.... if they dream about chicks in the 1st place... They probably dream about Brad Pitt and listened to Culture Club when they were younger...

The Aerosmith tour has been cancelled, there seems tobe major trouble with Steven Tyler.... Axl should give finck a lesser spot and get Joe Perry on lead !!! I knoe I'm dreaming but man, Joe sure knows those blues/rock riffs that originated GNR.... Probably Slash's biggest influence in his playing....

The new AXL songs are very good but in my view, they lack the killer riffs and guitar intros Slash came up with for SCOM, WTTJ, YCBM, Estranged, NR, Civil War and others... And most of the VR material and Snakepit material lacks the Axl melodies...
However, I must say the TWAT solo at the end is very good...but I feel the leaked song intro lack the Slash guitar power...

Most probably Bottox around the eyes... Anyway, who cares if the CD comes out, the tour is on with no cancellations or cut short shows and his voice is right on !!!

the adress you have for Club Stereo is in Montreal.....I don't think Axl has set foot back here since that famous show in 1992....
The 'National Enquirer' (Feb 27, 2006) has the following written in the 'Out & About' section on page 20:"Guns N' Roses' Axl Rose jumping onto a table at NYC club Stereo in the late hours and giving instructions on how to do his trademark Serpentine Dance when his song 'Welcome to the Jungle' came on"

You should ask the people in St-Louis, Montreal, Phily, Vancouver and Detroit if Axl doesn't owe them anything... They got ripped off for no good reason and without an explication....
He doesn't owe the fans a CD, that is right, but if he wants to buy Lamborginis and not be remembered as the artist who could never get a CD on the market.... It saddens me to say this but all this delay is not making Axl look good, he's turning more and more into a joke...

I just won't have any pitty for them and I find it funny to see that they know how to write press releases ...only when its for their benefit !! I'm just tired of all this bullsh**$ They should just get their CD out and tour with an entire tour of complete shows, just like very other band.... and without Axl running off stage every time he's not signing...
They are demanding respect of their rights and they dont respect their fans.... Maybe LIsa Reed should read this...

You won't see me crying when the GNR camp is all upset and trying to get the new songs off the boards, websites..... When they don't like something, they are very vocal on the Web, Press Release, lawsuit....
However, how about some appologies and make up dates for fans that saw they're show cut short in St-Louis in 1991, in Montreal in 1992, in Vancouver in 2002, in Detroit 2002, in Phily in 2002....how about a press release as to why the tour was cancelled in 2002.... A lot of people lost their jobs and wagers or saw some of their belonings be destrayoed because of GNR actions in the past during concerts...no GNR appologies or explanations.... These people are going to be pissed at GNR and if one of them gets his hands on demos, this is what happens.... You can't alway pull the sheets on your side... and never expect the person on the other end to never pull them back.... GNR may loose their money with the leaks, many presse releases and Formal Notices....
If you respect your fans and employees, you can expect the same from them, if not, you have to live with the consequences of your actions. Today, GNR has to live with the fact that songs are leaked and the only way to stop this is to get the CD on the market ASAP....after 13 years....
Won't get any pitty from me ! Just get the CD out and tour!

I dont see Slash coming back to tour and play tracks that are on an album on which he does not play the guitars and an an album on which he did not write any songs... Listening to these demos, they are missing the Slash solos, licks and bluesy hard rock guitar sound...
Finck is no match for Slash on sound, playing and writing... No wonder Trent Reznor is still doing well without him.... Let's be serious, Finck messed-up how many times the SCOM intro or Solo during the 2002 tour... Can't believe Axl, a perfectionnist can accept that. BUcket however played the hell out of SCOM at RIO 2001... tto bad he's gone. However, I do like Fortus.
I doubt very much this will happen and I see more a Velvet Revolver CD coming out in 2006....

Who is to blame for the leaks ? Me ? You ? No, it's the GNR camp so they have to live with their leaks... Not our problem if the did not manage their confidentiality in a professional way.... and I don't think this will delay the album...It will probably just do the contrary and get it out quicker....

Axl needs to show up on time... anyway, what the hell does he have better to do anyway...that justifies the fact that he is pissing off all of the fans... If he keeps it up, the tour will not last long as a riot will break out before the show or a curfew will shutdown a concert after they have played like 6 songs....
