  1. Slash said essentially these things in his book so it is nothing new, however I wonder what compelled him to break his "don't talk about Axl in interviews" thing he has had going on for a while for this specific interview.

Videos were getting less views. Nobody really cares about his new album. I don't even think a lot people care about GN'R getting together again, they just want to follow the feud.

  2. He clearly said he heard from some sources that very deep that have been some stuff in motion. Which matches what we have been hearing.

And honestly, I'd trust Eddie source on some level. He has his connections and he got to interview Axl twice. When it comes to Guns N' Roses, he knows his shit.

He clearly said that "In my honest opinion, I think it's gonna happen at some point, because it's down to two guys". Again, his personal opinion.

  3. Nah, it ain't like music. People will always like the same tv shows because there's about three general genres that they go for when doing a show, and they always succeed in being cool and bring something fresh and new. I do have to say that it's been a long time since a really really good show has appeared. I think it's all been going downhill since Scrubs ended.

  4. Wow, I knew he was a cunt, but not that big of a cunt. So let me crack this one out: apparently he's okay with exploiting his families life for a tv show, showing the world what a pretensious dickhead he is on that god awfull, scripted as hell tv show, but he's not okay with people who suffer mentally and have to deal with that shit every day? What a fucking asshole. I hate him so much right now, I think I can honestly say that Paul Stanley is a better person than Gene, and I can't stand that motherfucker.

  5. I heard once that George wrote Something about another woman, but still, I'd pick Something over Layla. And I really love the Layla album. I mean it's in my top 5. That was the album that made me like Eric Clapton.

According to a quote by George on wikipedia, he was thinking of Ray Charles. But people assume it was Pattie so I am going with that.

The idea it was Pattie probably comes from the video they shot with the Beatles hanging out with their then wives/girlfriends. Paul with Linda, John with Yoko and Ringo with Maureen (whom George also slept with).

Ahahaha, that's right, I forgot he slept with Ringo's wife!!

  7. Sales combined wouldn't even make them relavent in todays industry

I read an article saying how the artist on the top of the charts is selling 250k albums, and he's number one. It's ridiculous to think about how band used to sell something like 2 million albums just 15 years ago. Somebody needs to put a stop to this, otherwise no musician will be able to make money unless they're Bieber or Miley Cyrus.

  8. The Garden

    Yesterdays

    Perfect Crime

    Dead Horse

    Right Next Door

    November Rain

    Shotgun Blues

There's also a slight chance that Estranged already existed and was played during the AFD sessions, but just as a diddy Axl played in the piano. The rest of the songs were composed in Chicago when the band moved there in 1989 to compose and re work the tunes for the UYI albums.

There's a ton of songs that weren't released that were written before AFD too. You can find them on various bootlegs.

    Hope this helps.

Are you sure about Dead Horse, Right Next Door to Hell and Shotgun Blues??? I know Perfect Crime was played in '86. Also, not sure about Yesterdays & The Garden. I think those are '89 tunes...

To my knowledge, the UYI tunes in existence during AFD were November Rain, Bad Obsession, Perfect Crime, Don't Cry, You Could Be Mine & Back off Bitch.

Let's just say that I'm pretty sure about what I'm saying. Dead Horse was really old, it was from like 1983, just like Shotgun Blues, Axl had written those tracks with other musicians before he was in Rapidfire. Right Next Door To Hell was brought by Izzy when he met Timo during the AFD sessions. They worked on the song together and the rest of the band including Axl reworked the tune before UYI, but it was actually composed in '85. The first time they played Civil War together was in a soundcheck in Australia, back in 1989.
