this interview is fantastic news for the funs...i hope Axl talks about the release of a new album..can't wait...after the dissapointment at RIR things seem to get better and better....

i wasn 't at the concert and i believe it is different to hear live music than from a PC... but as i heard Axl from you tube i think he was great a week after the dissapointing appearance at rock in rio...really much better...i think some people like to complain for everything

So the show turned to be a failure...no good playing, no new songs, again late on stage, and Axl had problems at singing...he even forgot lyrics...great dissapoitment...i was hoping the last night had been a new start for our favourite band...i usually support Axl and new GNR but today i feel dissapointed...i just want to hear good music from these gifted guys but it seems that they can 't support what they do, especially Axl...It is so sad but that is the way it is...life goes on. I will be happy if things change (new disc, better perfomances,) but i am tired to wait for a change ...if only we could see Axl and the rest band tight again....the thing i want the most is to hear all the songs from the chinese democracy era... but tsese are only dreams i suppose

Yes i don' t blame the group for being late but it was something that made the night with all the other problems even worst... it was an unlucky momment raining when GNR were about to begin playing...but unfortunately this happaned

At last a confirmation from a memeber about the next album.The statement from ashba that Axl a lot of material in his sleeve means that the next album will contain songs from the CD era with buckethead robin songs.Maybe the current line-up has written some songs too that will be in the album but i believe and i hope to be released all the stuff from the last years.I cant wait to hear songs as the general , checkmate, seven doen by the ocean and all the other songs.I just hope the next album to be a double one.DJ Ashba confirmed a US tour in February too so i believe that the next album will be released until then..........oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh i can not wait for the new album LOVE GNR

Does anyone know if they went on stage on time?

There is new music to be released, this is sure.The question is how many songs are ready for a new disc,finished or almost finished.Some have talked about 4 albums,Brain has mentioned a remixe album Axl himself talked about 26 or 32 ready songs (including 2008 songs i think) and even ''70 songs ideas'' .Last year Axl on this forum if i remember good revealed 12 titles of new tracks.SDo there is music. I just hope as all of you we have a new

album in the next 6 months...I hope Guns release a double album...........and i will share with you my dream. I hope they release a new album called "Guns N Roses: The Trilogy" and it has all the CD era tracks in three discs.........but these are only dreams, dreams, dreams.Come on Axl release all the tracks wesupport you and we love you here in Greece

Just like if NIN's The Fragile had been two albums, released separately. They would have sucked...Too unconsistant...

The Fragile, as a double album however, rocks.

But honnestly, I won't whine too much if they just release it lol Actually, I really do hope it gets released because I can't get enough Chinese Democracy.

Axl inspired me in a lot of ways. An example is that in 2008 I moved from Ohio to Malibu, CA. In 2008 when the Dr. Pepper promotion was announced I knew it was going to be that year. The two things I wanted was to have the opportunity to work in Malibu and get to finally have Chinese Democracy. Both things happened and I was so happy. Axl is a guy that I didn't get to hear from musically for such a long time and when I got Chinese Democracy it was like a letter from someone I really admired but I have to say that I feel like even though it's all the more special to hear somebody's new songs and love them because you haven't heard anything from them in such a long time, you have to expect that you'll never hear from them again and there is nothing more they will ever release musically. It's just what a true GN'R fan has to tell themselves given the history of silence from Mr. Rose.

Anyway, it would mean the world to find out Chinese Democracy 2 would be out soon. I'm happy GN'R is touring but if I could purchase a few things from the band it would be great if they released their best concert from the new GN'R lineup on DVD and also release Chinese Democracy 2.

My friend i agree to all the things you have said.I want so much to have chinsese democracy 2 in my hands.If only the speculation about a november release is true.I expect to hear the songs you have mentioned and especially checkmate (if this is the real title of the 39 second leak that there is on youtube) .My best scenario is that Axl has ready a double album with 30 new songs ,it is said that CD is a trilogy so it would be perfect to release CD2 and CD3 at once. .......But maybe i am dreaming....oh yes i do....Come on Axl with a little promotion the album will sell very much,it will be a success..dont dissapoint your fans we want more music ,more songs.I would say we want all the songs from chinese democracy era...

Hopefully we will see CD 2 soon but we have to wait a little while...

I am waiting for the CD2 .I hope Axl has decided to release it.If only rhe release date is this year so we dont have to wait for long time.It is good that there are no leaks so far this means that UMG and Guns are

careful this time and they want to do things right way. But these are my thoughts and my speculation...maybe on the other hand there are no plans for a new album soon and this would be a dissapoiyment.

Chris Pitman (if i am not wrong ) said that music surprises are coming of all kind .What about the MSL statement about a november release ? I dont know who MSL is but as i can see reading other forums too he is considered as a reliable source.

i am get bored of waiting this new album. CD 1 is one of the greatest album of this decade and i cant wait for the new one but all this situation with the speculations the conversations and rumours is really sick.

I cant understand what Axl or UMG are waiting to release the next album( from chinese democracy era) .With little promotion the album will be a success.The 36 second leak of checkmate is awesome i hope the other songs are too.This all situation is sick.New songs ,new interest ,more money will bring the new album.On the other hand delays cant bring anything to both Axl and UMG.Not to mention that this is a finished work and no more money should be invested for recordings. By the way if this album (with Bucket and Robin) see the light of day i believe that the name 'Guns and Roses" would be perfect....Can I make a last wish ?? I wish it is a double album...Oops I am asking too much.............We love you Guns n Roses here in Greece....

9. We know you will be busy with GNR for quite some time abroad, but a recent article in Bergen mentioned Dizzy Reed and DJ Ashba talking about writing a new album - possibly due to 2011. Are you writing with the band too? Are the other recorded songs from the Chinese Democracy sessions scraped (no pun!)? Anything you could share on this matter?

People ask us all the time about a next album and we all speak the same truth, that we would *like* to work on another album, and hopefully will. I think some quotes in that Bergen Norway article got lost in translation, from what the band said to what was printed, to how it was translated again to other languages. Right now the focus is touring, bringing the live show to the world. After that, we'll see what's best to do next...

Thus : they are not officially working on a new album. Yes, they are probably jamming a lot during rehearsals but Ron wouldn't call that "writing a new album".

Disappointing but hardly surprising

I hope the next album to see the light of the day soon. I am tired of waiting and searching forums for rumours about CD2. If only all the songs from the Chinese Democracy are released. MLS said a release in July Was suggested but UMG denied to

promote the new album with the other songs of CD2.So i think it woulb be a good idea to release this summer a special edition of Chinese Democracy with the original artwork and one or two bonus tracks.And why not a DVD included? Oooops

I ask too many things..... Come on Axl the video on facebook was great release "Better" ....

The June/July release was turned down but something appears to be slated for an end of the year/next year release. There's one album that we think is finished and one that is being written by the current lineup.
