  1. Haha, yes, it has got to be my number 1. Given the shit that was around at the time, Appetite was definately life changing to me.

  2. A great shock value song with at catchy tune. What more would you expect from G n' R. Isn't this style of music what made Gun's what they are today. Sure, a few of the lyrics are offensive to some people, but this is what we call freedom of speech.

If you don't want to here it, then don't play it. I have friends that have come from all over the world and i also have gay friends, listening to One in a million doesn't make me hate them though.

I think that what we are all forgetting is that we are who we are regardless of race or sexual preference. To judge another person by there way of thinking would only be hypocritical.

  3. I managed to get my hand on Axl's towel that he used at the Melbourne '07 show. At the end of the show Richard tossed it into the crowd. I grabbed it with one hand as it flew over my head and i held onto it like it was a life or death situation. The problem was, three other people grabbed it aswell.

It came down to just another person and myself until some stupid fuck decided to try and launch himself over the girl's head that was standing behind me.

She screamed in pain, which kinda made me realise, was it really worth being thrown around like a ragdoll and risking the others getting hurt over a fucking towel? No.

At that point i let it go and had to really refrain from punching the other guy in the head.

The result in the end was me = nothing. Had a great night though.

The girl behind me = earing ripped through and out of her earlobe.

The other guy = a towel and the knowing that he was on my hitlist, hence security telling him to stand with them until we had left.

  4. Apparently Melbourne has missed out of the tour due to some bullshit "exclusion zone clause" that has been written into their Clipsal V8 Supercars contract.

Hence why they are playing at Townsville and not Brisbane.

This reaffirms to me that money will always be put before the fans. Let's hope that i am wrong.

Welcome to the new G n' R era.

  5. Industrial, no. It would be the last nail in the coffin for Axl and the boys. Also, it would be hard to get the old G n' R sound back with the new musicians, as they each have their own style. But, i think that bringing back a raw sound, (less overlay, with more concerntration on the guitars, drums, ect) would revive the intencity of the music. Axl's voice is a powerful tool. All he needs is an "in your face", raw and powerful backing track to complete the songs.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that CD was a poor album. It just sounded to technical for my full liking with not enough of an adrenalin rush from the music.

  6. What happened at Reading on Friday has caused far to much bullshit for my liking. Let's all face it, regardless of what we may think had happened is, in reality, our own speculation. Just be thankful that those of you who were there, actually got to see them live.

If you hadn't known by then that G n' R are always fashionably late then maybe you should ask yourselves if you are a true fan.

Really, after 20+ years of constantly coming on late do any of you honestly think that this habit will change?

  7. Old Guns, definately. The new boys playing the AFD = still up there. CD, to me, sounds more so like a filler and causes me to move away from Axls new agenda.

Moderate rock and metal gets my juices flowing, eg, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Skid Row, The Doors, Led Zepplin, ect.

If Axl and the boys can pull off a killer rock album next time around, only then will i be sold.

  8. Herald Sun says GNR is playing Sydney but not Melbourne

(I really hope they add more then 1 show to the Aus tour) rock3

Herald Sun Sunday 11th "Guns N Roses Playing Sydney Snubbing Melbourne in December"

Yeah I saw that in todays paper. No way will they play Sydney and not come to Melbourne

Let's hope TeeJay come to Melbourne guys rock3

The Herald Sun is unreliable at the best of times. Why would Axl bring the boys all the way to Aus for only one show??? It doesn't make $$$$$ sense. Who cares what the papers write anyway? Have we forgotten "Get in the ring" already? They kicked arse in Melbourne 2007 and they will do it again in 2010/11. We can choose to believe whatever we like, but, we will never lose our faith. G'N'R in Australia? Bring it on! rock3
