If this press release came from Coachella, it isn't quite as bad as Axl claiming to be the only Founding Member, and Slash and Duff just former members. But Coachella should have said Founding Members Axl. Slash, and Duff will reunite.

I hope they all work hard to deliver a great performance. Axl must work on his vocals and shape, Slash should really consider working in his guitar tone and timbre, the hired guys are good professionals but they must step up their game as well, there's an icon on lead guitar now.

Uh? It´s not disrespectful. I´m asking because I read Marc´s words "promoters would offer more money if Slash is involed" It´s not just Axl making extra cash it is the promoters mean business. And business for promoters mean a reunion will sell more tickets. For the record company means a reunion album would sell more copies. That´s what the record company cares about.

I don't respect sellouts, never did. So a reunion is the final nail on gnr's coffin for me, the ''original'' line up was awesome but it ended a long time ago and it should stay that way but i guess hollywood people sure do like remakes.

Have to completely agree here. I've seen Axl fan after Axl fan sling mud at Slash but somehow things like the Bud commercial and Monster cans on a piano during NR are justified.

Well...doing a commercial every 20 years or so doesn't really make you a sellout. To me a sellout is a person who does and say's anything in exchange for money.

And even though i know axl is not doing a reunion because of money reasons and therefore he's not really a sellout, i still think that it's pussy of him to give up and let the haters win. So for that reason and that reason only fuck axl rose.

I supported chinese democracy and he's turning he's back on 20 years of hard work to go back working with a real sellout. Fuck that shit, it's his life and we have to respect his decisions, but as a person i'm no longer able nor willing to respect him.

What a profound statement. I have met a lot of actors. More so than musicians. They speak of how playing a character for a long time can merge with their personality. If GNR fans were more like.fans of the totally awesome American TV show SUPERNATURAL we would all be a much happier community. All the actors were willing to spend hours signing autographs and taking pictures with 2 thousand fans this past weekend because of all the genuine love and support between fan and artist.
