That Del james interview is quite depressing reading.....either we will get a new album at some point in axl's life or one is coming soon. In that interview he seems like hes pissed off with the new album talk, and is resigned to a 'whenever its done' attitude.

so how long a break do they have to put this together before the tour?

There is a version of TIL around without the lead guitar, i think from the rockband moggs. I actually prefer it as you can hear the strings more and in my opinion it suits the song better.

I agree. Slash or no Slash, Axl is at his best singing raw rock n roll. Even in the Paris show, his voice sounded amazing during Whole Lotta Rosie. The more raw and less produced the rock, the better Axl shines. Less is more with the production.
