great band, great tune, any other fans?
-
i wouldn't mind hearing a cd, but a tour? com'on, there like 80!, do they need walking frames on stage?.
-
what a bunch of frauds.
this is a total fag album.
i prefer the older sound, it's a shame the cd doesn't sound like it does live.

i wouldnt even call him a freak...he just seems like a try-hard? i mean come on, Nazi Memorabilia and shit, thats like the 101 of shocking shit to own. if there was something really fucked up, really odd, really psycho about him, he wouldnt be such a financially stable astute business man living in hollywood...the real freaks are a lot scarier...Marilyn Manson is just a character of someones design whoose attempts at shock by now have become so fucking obvious and ham-fisted i cant believe people can take the guy seriously, he's a fucking cartoon character...a bad one at that.
totally agree.

Why is this even a topic. To me it just goes to show that racism is alive in well.....we are shocked, outraded, and sometimes agree. Yet we continue to feed it more food.
try not to be a tool in the future.

You guys are desperate for anything that looks something like the golden era of sleaze rock, ie black leather, bandanas, etc, etc. This is emo crap. My roommate loves this group. I'm subject to this band regularly. He also loves all that stuff that sounds like it could air nicely on the Nickelodeon channel between cartoons. This is really thinly veiled screamo, emo, whatever you have. They have a few riffs here in there, some wretched tone-deaf melodies, a nasally voiced singer (not akin to anyone a bit nasally who actually produces a musically identifiable tone from his voice, which can rock) and the rest is that spastic, "I'm wildly expressing myself" rock that is popular with angsty teenagers and college students right now. It's depressing to see this on here. You guys like Hinder and Saliva? Think they're bringing rock back where it should be? Christ. Avenged Sevenfold. On one song, a guitarist ran three scales essentially note for note for his solo. This is just wretched. You're GNR devotees but this....it's like you're all bending over for Ratt. It's worse than that. THis is like being married to some incredibly attractive person and getting fucked in the ass (regardless of gender) by a midget with bad teeth.
these guys are very talented in my opinion, but you got you're right to you're opinion, but is that a kiss avatar? if you like kiss musically, you're opinion is void in my books, the drummer is insanely good, and hey there out there making music, which is more then we can say about gnr.
-
gnr this year, awesome night.
second avenged sevenfold, then wolfmother.
-
now this is how to improve a song! Kram the drummer is very good, kicks ass on the drums and sings, check it out if you heaven't heard it.
-
they need to work on there stage presence, the guitar players move around alittle more, it's more entertaining, but yeah... they sound fucking awesome, shadows has stepped up his game big time, it's good to see.

I don't like Bach, but I think this is a stupid thread.
wise man for his age! :xmasssanta:
i like bach, and i also think this thread is stupid.

i think it's Avenged Sevenfold best song yet, it's a very good song, any other fans out there>? do you think any others are better on the new album?.
-
i was waiting to hear the cd, but i went down today, and the guy at the store said it's coming out on sat in aus, but they didn't order any in!, and not many stores did in australia so it could be hard to find! i was like.... what the fuck!
so i just downloaded it!
and this is what i think, 5 out of 10 is ok, which means i'd listen to it once and awhile, most likely forget it over time.
on my first listen.
01. Critical Acclaim, 9/10
02. Almost Easy 8/10
03. Scream 6/10
04. Afterlife 9/10
05. Gunslinger 7/10
06. Unbound (The Wild Ride) 4/10
07. Brompton Cocktail 8/10
08. Lost 7/10
09. A Little Piece Of Heaven 5/10< it's circus theme music, but the slow courses rocks.
10. Dear God / 7/10 << a good end saved this song, from it's boring start.
not as good as City of Evil, but it's a still better then most albums that get released these days, these boys have alot of talent, it shines in Brompton Cocktail, Cristical Acclaim, Almost Easy, Afterlife!
-
IMO, i think the song kinda sucks. i think the best "new" rock album that's just come out is the new Kid Rock...it's pretty good.
Alterbridge - Blackbird FTW
Yeah,very good album!
kid rocks a fucking homo, this bach song rocks.
-
i like it, but i couldn't hear axl? or i didn't notice axl, any way bach fucking awesome man.
-
i really liked the last album!, it's cool to listen too once and awhile, but the best album of the decade>? please fool .
-
I'm on the 3rd song and it's sounding great so far.
where the fuck is it? i want it, i'll still buy it, it's cool to have the cd as well.
-
-
i think he's just having some fun with this.
-

rock owns everything.
not when it comes to Metallica. It was their fall from Godhood to just another rock band...
maybe to those over 40, but to a new generation they were the only rock band going around at the time (late 90's early 00's), plus rock's just cooler in every department, look what going back to metal got metallica? st.FLOP.
if you can call that metal...
what would you call it? they said they wanted to get back to where it all started for them, you know like ride the lighting.
you can see how well that went eh?
opps lol, Lightning!
yeah that one sold really well in 83, and they tried to do it again in 03, but it didn't work...why?... because it's dated, they should of kept moving in the right direction, not moving backwards muscially.
