In the two shows I went, the extended solo was the weakest and more pointless moment. It's just too long. You could see everyone around just wishing it would end.

He could do a 2 minutes solo and play one or two other songs with the time.

That's a nice Epiphone, moreblack. I was going to buy the Gibson one for $25,000 but the guy decided to keep it at the last minute. That, or someone else offered him more money.

I was about to post saying how that was a ridiculous price and you shouldn't pay more than 5K for that guitar..... then I did some research. Why do these guitars sell for so much? 25K is a low price it seems. Not even the Jimmy Page 90's models sell for this much. What am I missing, is it the artwork? The wood/electronics is no way worth 25K. Or is it just the rarity of the guitar?

Myles has said, as have many others, on many occasions that he considers himself more of a guitarist than a singer, even though he sings in basically everything he does. Apparently the guy can totally shred. I don't not believe him, I've just never seen it. I'm sure its evident on some Alter Bridge records.

And yes, I was listening to my live Slash bootleg from Boston 4 years ago. This band has always been incredible. Every concert I go to I now say "wouldn't it be great if Slash and Myles came out instead of this band?" They are just that good.

Believe it! Dude's probably a better guitarist than slash.
