  1. The only people who think Axl is doing great are kidding themselves, your fiance is right.

Best Buy reportedly paid 14 million dollars for his last album, I'd say he is doing OK.

and yet it was just a short time later, that BB starting closing stores and laying people off.

    Coincidence?

...wonder how many jobs that 14 mill would have saved

i've worked at bb , they'll see it as a blessing lol

  2. What bugs me most is,

this DJ guy does all of this shit so knowingly. It's like he sits infront of a computer and thinks up all sorts of cool, low-browed "rock n roll" things he should be or do or have. To somehow make people believe he and his life are like a believable throwback to some mythic eighties LA rocker lifestyle. Like playing his guitar with a cigarette in his mouth. Who actually does that shit at 37 years or whatever his age is. I can dig kids in their twenties who really want to be percieved like that but seriously?

    Keef & Ronnie... :D

he needed to smoke and he just so happened to be onstage , who cares?

  3. Until the song 'The General' comes out let's stop using that name for any unnamed song! NONE of us know what piece it is from, and let's stop pretending we know what it is

well it was confirmed as the general on the official guns n' roses twitter, but apparently that isn't good enough for you?

    wait WHAT was?

  4. It's weird to see who Axl thanks in this album because he thanks Azoff yet now he is in a lawsuit with him. Pretty sad because this proves that this album was rushed out and we got a shitty copy that was forced by the record label.

if you read the thread you'd know that this is from 2008-2009. alot can change very quickly

  5. I don't get how the hell he is a recluse. He didn't want to preform awhile , was depressed and wanted to live his life after living years and years in the spotlight. It's not like he's a shutin who has no friends or dosen't leave the house. He just didn't want to be fucking bothered by people and that's his human right

  6. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. They already have the intro in the beginning, so they can use that and go right into the song.

Yup, lets open our headlining set with a new song that nobody has ever heard at the biggest music festival in the world. Sometimes you guys are quite retarded.

    *people anticipating WTTJ*

What the fuck is this shit?

well they use chi dem which alot of people dont know

  7. In the new letter from Axl where he says "This is how I spent my summer" Is this just a joking way like when kids say on the first day of school, or seeing how the album came out in November and probably went to print a month or two earlier, do you think he means he meant the summer previous to the release fine tuning everything. Also the mention of

" And how with the help of many others managed to save my own life." , this ones a lot more interesting. Is he saying that the album nearly drove him over the edge, we knew it was a back breaking time to make it but do we think he really was suicidal??

i would seriously believe that all the crap that axl has been through would have led to thoughts of suicide. thank god he didn't.

Baldwin is the piano of choice!

    Baldwin Custom Mirror - $149,985 :o

I've always wondered what happens with these pianos/guitars/amps etc after? Do they go into storage fo the next tour ? Does Axl keep the piano at home? Kinda lame but hmm

  9. The problem is , atleast in my circle of friends , you mention a Lady Gaga song or her and people start calling you a homosexual. I don't have anything wrong with being called one but I'll never understand how you can jump so such conclusions. Basically what I'm trying to say is that there seems to be a stigma attached to liking a pop act as a threat to ones credibility.

Not just pop acts, but her specifically. One of my best friends is gay and he's obsessed with her. Gay icons seem to be born from adversity and strangeness...I mean, compare GaGa -- with her unconventional ways -- to someone like Britney Spears, who's a bit more typical as far as what she's representing and how she's positing herself, and you can kinda see why the homosexual community would be drawn to Gaga. (And she's definitely building upon her inherent gay fanbase with songs like "Born This Way," which champion trans-genders and gays.)

But yeah, the whole gay stigma is kind of a bummer. Not because I really give a shit what people think, but just because you can't say you like her without being questioned about it. It's like straight dudes aren't supposed to like her, and if you do you're expected to justify it. Fuck off. She's quite talented.

spot fucking on. she seems to be one of the most legit stars that i recall other than axl or myles

  10. it just makes me sick when people say axl's an asshole thisandthat when he goes and he spends that amount of money on someone. i'm actually pretty sure he'd donate to charaties on the downlow instead of whoring himself outt

  11. ugh no more 10 year old songs on CD 2 plz

Right, instead let's wait 10 more years for 12 "new" songs. Please.

ugh no more 10 year old songs on CD 2 plz

Fine wine gets better with age - as does the phenomenon of songs on "Chinese Democracy" II.

Exactly. If we haven't heard them yet, they might as well have been recorded yesterday.

What I mean't is that id prefer them to do songs with the current line up
