  1. Not sure if I am misunderstanding your question, but check the quotes in the first post. Beta acknowledged that she spoke to Slash and Axl's attorney released a statement that it was at 5:30a.m. in October of 2005.

I don't even trust my own attorney, and I damn sure wouldn't trust the diaper changer.

  2. All reports of "flammable water" or even brown or discolored water were found to be COMPLETE bullshit.

Lol ratbrain. That list could be picked apart.

Let's see, baking soda, hydrochloric acid (toilet bowl cleaner anyone?), antifreeze.

Also...isopropanol and isopropyl alcohol are the same thing. Herr derr.

Shit, there's more hazardous chemicals in most food in the supermarket.

There are a lot of documentaries and articles easily found on youtube and the internet about the environmental hazards of fracking.

Go watch the documentary "Gasland" if you think it is harmless.........

Didn't watch it, but reactionary bullshit most likely.

  3. Will it create jobs?

Or, is this just us testing and no one's agreed nothing yet?

Fracking... In Sussex of all places, IDK... I just assumed 'up north' - but, like, The Midlands lol, I'm 'down south' so IT ALL pretty much is north to me.

When they started doing it in my home-state of Pennsylvania, initially it did create jobs but only for a few years. Once the wells are dug, pipes implanted, etc....it's really just maintenance from that point forward...so most of the jobs are laid off or moved, etc.

The Marcellus plays saturated the market... for now, but once the price rebounds, expect growth.

It reminds me of Spain. In Spain you do not drink the tap water as it gives you the eartha kitts.

The best water I've had is essentially spring water (out of the tap though) from the Gran Sasso, in Italy. It's an enormous spring that is sent into the pipe system and leads to thousands of homes and fountains throughout the region. Exceptionally good water.

    It isn't treated??? Good lord!

  4. Thrown down in the gutter

    It's more than you deserve

    Kneeling fucking banshee

You know that's what you are

    Pussy full of maggots

    Syphilitic preacher

    I know who you are

Parasitic demons sucking acid through your heart

Oh what should we do with a bitch like you?

    Project much, brah?

  5. One thing I have to concur with Gunzen on is that I also can name a dozen friends that purchased CD and exactly zero of them had ever even heard of any GN'R forum until I mentioned the forums to them. While ER very well may be correct in that it is not "soccer moms" who purchased the album, it wasn't solely those on this or any other GN'R forum who purchased the album, based on my experience.

    Ali

In the world of academia, there is the phrase: the plural of anecdote is not data. Which basically can be interpreted to mean that because you, and another poster, know a handful of people that bought the album, and are not members of the GnR on line community, does not invalidate ER's thesis that it was, and is, the online community that held out hope, for what most others in the industry had concluded, was a clusterfuck.

What exactly are you disputing? It seems you are making a strawman argument here. Where did I say anything about holding out hope?

All of the people I know who bought the CD album have never been to a single GN'R forum. Therefore, I said that based on my experience it wasn't just those of us on the forums who bought the album.

You concurred with Grunzen's false analogy in that your all's anecdote concluded This is made up horseshit, and complete speculation, Hence, that ER's thesis was "made up horse shit, complete speculation".

EDIT: Curious Ali, In my 8 years participation in the on-line GnR community, I have yet to see on disparaging remark about the band on your behalf; I don't think I have ever seen you admit that mistakes have been made by Rose and Co.

Perhaps, I am wrong-- I don't monitor every post to every site-- but the persona you exude is one of blind allegiance.

First point - I agreed with a specific part of Gunzen's post and found an analogs situation myself with the people I know. Anything else is you putting words in my mouth.

    Ali

How cute. You attempt to define the argument, Ali.

    Answer my question, Ali. "pathology"=clusterfuck=Axl=band=???=profit

  6. No boycott needed. Put your money where your mouth is

To boycott stuff, they need to sell stuff.

    There's no album to boycott.

    There's no tour to boycott.

    There's no DVD to boycott.

We can boycott CD, but most of us already own it. We could boycott Greatest hits, but again most of us have all those songs in some way, shape, or form.

We could not buy their merchandise, but how many people here buy their merchandise anyway....?

If they do a South American tour, people who live in South America could boycott that. But most of the fans on this forum aren't from South America, so it wouldn't be a huge impact.

Maybe we should boycott it by buying slash stuff and going to slash shows.:rofl-lol:

I'm not the biggest Slash fan, but why the hell not? At least we can expect new music and media appearances. Anything beats the shit out of the clusterfuck that the current management.

I honestly think that there are some talented song writers among Rose's project... hell, he should cut them loose and share credits... if anything, ChiDem has demonstrated that Rose is not a lyricist, composer, arranger, or producer.

  7. Don't want to be negative at all, quite frankly i would prefer not to feel this way.

But as of the last announcement, we get the picture that nothing is actually coming out in a long time, and that we're going to have another 1-4 years of silence time span...

Anyone that has been following the band will know that if the band plans on doing something in 2014, it will end up coming true 2 or 3 or more years later.

I don't know if some of you share the same opinion, but i feel this has come to a drastic ridiculous point.

We have to admit that Axl has completely destroyed the good name of Guns N'Roses with his antics and let's face it, for this it would be better if GNR didn't even exist at this point.

    My question to you is:

Should we completely boycott this band from now on? Should we don't even mention this new band and anything to do with it and solely speak about the Original GNR band.

What will be the point of devoting our time to the new band since nothing ever comes out of it successfully?!

Let's face it, they are a completely new band that should be on this project with the mindset that they should start from zero cause obviously none of the members have been part of GNR history besides Axl... even Axl himself should have that mindset and be humble enough to start from scratch, yet they act as if they were the "Classic Status" band that the name portrays all at the Original band's cost and do whatever they want to, which only damages the name further.

I don't mean to cupcake with this post at all, just serious discussion. Honestly i think it came to that point...

Boycotts are funny. No one here will ever do it no matter how much they puff out their chests and talk big.

    Sad but true.

Not so. I conscientiously decided not to spend any of my money on this band over 5 years ago. In fact, I donated a healthy chunk that I would've spent on the band to a charity.
