  1. Yeah, all the forum crackheads unite... I bet this thread will not be deleted, just like all the other pro-drug threads in Anything Goes. What gives?

so everyone can talk racist shit on here fyou.giffyou.giffyou.gif but not speculate on drug use ???? not that I condone it but it is freedom off speech !

Go for it,I was just pointing out that there was no crack back in the day,but there was plenty of other chemicals to choose from,I've done my share of damnned near everything, but only have a drink or two now.

  2. So, chilean media is reporting on a south american tour coming up just after this summer to coincide with Rock In Rio.

And yeah, I have decided to give these Guns a fucking go!

Another SA-tour must certainly mean a new album is coming, because GNR doing another AFD/CD/OMFGJUNGLE-tour would be just weird.

I think that in August/September we´ll be digging our asses to The General, Thyme, Atlas Shrugged and Blood in the water.

Yes, I fucking believe it now! I have been very sceptical to the RIR-gig even happening, I have been doubting it. But now, with the tour dates emerging, things seem to fall in place!!!

I´m getting pumped up for a new album, and have decided to give GNR another chance, a last chance, like the long-time fan I am after all.

I will fucking embrace them all, the newcomers and the old, and I´ll cheer for a succesful album-release and south american tour in september/october!

DJ Ashba, Bumblebeard (or slash or buckethead if bumble ain´t fit for fight), Frank, Fortus, Da General Stinson, Mother Goooooose, Dizzy fockin´ Reed and Axl Rose.

It´s all up to you now, and you have my full support!

CD2 starts in august, right at ya! Don´t let us down motherfuckers, and we will hold on to our guns!

Don´t forget monumental promotion and a video to go with the release!

    Fuckyeah! I´m p-u-m-p-e-d.

[this post is not meant to be sarcastic, i am actually giving this band a fair chance, if there´ll be an album this fall]

You're just a fucking boring cupcake. One minute you love the band, then you hate them, now you love them again - get a life.

Yeah, the wishy-washy motherfuckers piss me off.

  3. if you have a habit, bangin 7 grams really isn't that impressive

Dumb on so many levels, bang means inject, and thats how he overdosed. Nobody can bang a 7 gram rock and live. So he had to been talking about smoking it, and smoking a qtr of crack at once would kill you.

Very dumb, back in the day you had coke, not crack.

There was also crystal meth, smack, and smoke of all grades, these days you never worry about seeds popping.

There were also pills, angel dust, and ghetto wine.

Sheen is a media whore, and this topic is a waste.of. space.

  4. WHO cares how long anyone has been here? That DOES NOT make you "King fan." It is a mute point really.

When guns were big back int the 90's I swore I was the biggest fan on the planet, then I noticed fuck! others like them just as much too. None of it mattered.

Groghan has the right idea it is ok to like both albums, or any members of the band old or new, it doesn't have to be one against the other at all.

If it was not for original Guns most of us would not be here I am sure, however I look forward to see what Guns N' Roses is and will be now.

Is it different, sure it is but I am also 20 years older too.

Saing on song is better than another is not a sure fire answer, it is your opinion is all. What I like you may not or visa versa :shrugs:

ANyway for me I am a fan of all of it, I have every member of this band on my wall, past and present. Does that make me any better of less of a fan? Of course not!

    THIS!

I have every single Guns Album that has been released, and I like them all! I'm not a fan of Miles or Fergie covering Guns songs, but I love AFD,Lies,Illusions,as well as CD! And I am looking forward to maybe hearing a new song at RIR,but I'm also looking forward to hearing a few classics in the mix! :)

  5. so... GNR are breathing on Nickelback's back B) now.

after leaving behind bands as U2 and now Evanescence.

just one aspect of how relevant is GNR in 2011. ok!? ok.

    "everything is possible..."

    hey, by the way,

if any of you could help me out with this

check out at min.4.26 as Ron's put it -

"it's GNR you never fucking know what's gonna happen "

and I want just that part. it's at 4.26 min.

I just want it so I can used each time someone is complaining on GNR around herei B)

Good luck with appeasing all the chronic complainers on here, they seem to feed on the negative aspects, none of the positive

    thanks man! I'll try B)

but in the land of gnr fans "ain't fun" is the word of the day.

    so :shrugs: about these guys.

but I know, there are some readers,

like I was -it took me 2 years to make an account, and the main reason was

to try to show the bright side, if there was or is or will be any -

    who see the good side.

if there isn't that's fine, than no need to point it out, as it's more than obvious

for everyone. the point is that people, in general, living in this no-world

often see only the negative side of things, as they were educated to see hat,

and doing so, they consume there own energy in a negative way,\

resulting more negative energy into others,

so the circle goes on and on.

    and that's not cool man.

but, there are always bright side of things, in my book,

and I try to show the others.

And that is a good thing,I don't quite understand why there is so much negativity directed at GNR on this forum,we have FOR coming up,and it was amazing how fast it sold out! I'm looking forward to what is to come,we have had interviews with band members, and although GNR doesn't operate like any other band,I enjoy that aspect, and attitude, enjoy your posts Starabotes :)

  6. I agree with this,we are in different times, and the music scene is nowhere near what it was when AFD was released,CD is multifaceted and holds its own imo!

But we still have ears don't we? I don't need anybody to tell me what decade it is to know if I like a tune or not.

I hope you still have ears! And the statement I made was my opinion,I don't need charts, critics or radio play to tell me if I like the music or not,I liked AFD and also like CD,I'm not a fan of what is considered mainstream music these days, they can keep lady Gaga and Bieber,I don't care for that at all.

  7. As a couple of posters have mentioned, Shackler's Revenge, this song has a nightclubbey vibe to it it, and as CD showed us, the music doesn't matter. Axl made an amazing album, filled with great music. It flopped due to the worst promotion of all time. So to answer the question, no GNR does not need a nightclubbey song to properly come back, they need promotion. Great promotion.

    Agreed,solid post :)

  9. Sounds promising to be as good as anything on CD. Those 16 seconds were a horrible cocktease.

Agreed, leave you hungry for something you haven't had yet :)

  10. Just enjoy the music and don´t ever compare a 1987 record to a 2008 one from a totally different band.

I'll say it one more time... I'm not trying to compare or contrast "Chinese Democracy" with "Appetite. I'm simply asking users to check off their twelve strongest "Chinese" against the twelve "Appetite" untouchables... to illustrate the reality "Appetite" isn't as far and beyond as some would like to think.

I agree with this,we are in different times, and the music scene is nowhere near what it was when AFD was released,CD is multifaceted and holds its own imo!

  11. If the world has a kickass groove, and as for peoplke that do not like Shackler's., I may be able to direct you to an ear clinic. It is an awesome song, powerful, heavy, driving, awesome.
