· Please ARRIVE EARLY to avoid traffic and congestion in the Arlington area.
· Abram Street is under construction between Collins Street and Highway 360. This will affect out-bound traffic on Collins Street South to Abram Street from Lots 11, 12, 13 and 14. As an alternative, we suggest using Collins Street South to Park Row; Turn left on Park Row to Highway 360 or further east to George Bush Toll Highway (Highway 161).
· We suggest using www.dallascowboysmaps.com for your travels to AT&T Stadium. This website provides you the best route from your point of origin to your pre-purchased or selected cash lot.
· The I-30 Express Lane is open and available for use. Look for the exit signs for the "Express Lane" as you enter Tarrant County on I-30 WB from Dallas and East.
· Below are two suggested routes to use for arrival. These alternative routes will allow you to avoid the heavily congested Collins Street, Ballpark Way and AT&T Way exits off of I-30.
o I-30 Westbound Preferred Route: Take I-30 Westbound to SH 161; Take SH 161 Southbound to Main Street/Division Street exit; Turn Right on Main Street/Division Street; Turn Right on AT&T Way to Silver Lots or Turn Right on Collins Street to Blue Lots.

Awesome podcast, very entertaining!

I think they are just going to keep milking the tour, and maybe they will record a song, an album. What I can say for sure is that they will keep on touring until something adversely affects it.

What stubborn? Me? Hehe!
You know they say a man who is aware of his own stubbornness is a dangerous man.
With that said, I think I've become part of the unhinging process.

Because you aren't following along...this whole discussion is about something posted on GnRs social media....now I'd agree the U2/Coldplay stuff is a bit off topic, but in general the whole discussion revolves around something posted on GnRs social media. Isn't this thread entitled "GnR social media update discussion". If the intent of the thread is to just post the updates then the word discussion should be removed right? And the words "updates only, no discussion" be put in its place?
hey, I enjoy this thread just as anyone else but I had to enter my two cents in regards to the constant unhinging and mods nipping it in the bud.
I was actually looking forward (and figuratively got the popcorn ready) for a heated argument between you and DieselDaisy. Both of you are combative and somewhat stubborn lol

This is all related to GnR social media though, so it's not unhinged.
GNR Orlando tribute video > "GNR is politically correct" > What is 'Politically Correct' > *something happens* > Argument - is U2/Coldplay politically incorrect?
If that is not the process of unhinging, idk what is.
-
this thread seems to go unhinged quite quickly.

That stadium is immense.
In person it is so much bigger. It's almost surreal to be there.

Cool, thanks.
If I didn't have business to attend to, I'd fly over there in a jiffy.
Surely better than going to see Melissa & co...
Melissa & co?? hahaha smh...
1 - She is barely noticeable on stage with the rest of the band.
2 - she adds backing vocals that open up the songs + provides keyboard fill when needed.
how you can possibly exaggerate and say "melissa & co" is beyond me.
Similar to someone saying "Tracy and Roberta & Co." during the UYI tours.

I think the issue is less rasp vs clean but singing from gut vs singing from throat. People are expecting more POWER from Axl, which if you think about it, he uses in vital parts of the songs. I think he balances it out well.

Thank you for the information.
Do you know if there has been tram service from the lots to the stadium at past events?
There may be guys out biking people from parking to the venue. Not sure if that will be the case though. I've never seen a tram service though.

Please define "Cheaper".
$30 on StubHub seems tough to beat.
umm for football games the business parking tends to range from half the venue parking, down to around 5 dolllars depending on distance. I would go with the $30 stubhub parking just to avoid the stress of finding it last minute.

I am beyond excited for this show @ Jerryworld!!

Does anyone have experience with parking at AT&T Stadium?
Are the $30 lots on StubHub fairly priced or is there a chance parking will be less expensive at the venue?
If it's like Cowboy games, the entire street that leads to the stadium will have businesses that will offer parking for cheaper. A little longer walk but not too bad.

This beats all Prince's work... especially the one you mentioned.

Song is garbage, hopefully it never comes out... Not GN'R, not even good in the industrial genre.

Judging by the reviews and what people are saying online (outside the forum), people are blown away. Most people are saying "Axl got his voice back" as if he's sudden;y singing completely different now that Slash and Duff are back... when we all know he's essentially sounding like the better end of Vegas 2014.
Haven't seen it in person but it looks great, and I'll be going to the first show within reasonable travel distance. Only disappointed if the tour doesn't lead to new material by mid 2017 at the latest.
Even on BLABBERMOUTH (where cupcakes sit and wait to attack anything), everything was extremely positive concerning the tour. You'd see the occasional 'fat Axl' meme throughout but the positive comments outweighed the negative 'hooray for tolerance!' ones.

I was hesitant of the CITR performance when reading some of the member's comments, but after watching, I thought it was superb!! I don't get all the hate.
-
It'd be neat if they brought back the SCOM outro from the 90's.
-
I'm actually surprised at all the CD songs being played. You'd think they would add more AFD/UYI songs... anyhow, cool! it will be interesting to see Slash's take on CITR.

How did you upgrade your tickets ?
Called ticketmaster and told them I wanted to upgrade to a closer area. They said no problem and got it upgraded in about 10 minutes.

This would have been an awesome opportunity for Axl and Slash to do something together.
