Does anyone know a free hosting site I can upload last nights show to? It's in 1080 and just about a perfect stream throughout . It's just way to big for my dropbox account. I believe when I converted it to mp4 it was around 4gb.

Just incase anyone else has a black screen, I had to disable Peer Guardian to see anything. I've got an HD crystal clear image now! I'm gonna record the show tonight on my Mac so it won't be skippy or anything. I just gotta make sure i Have a few gigs for a 2-3 hour HD show...

What are you using to record it with? I've fought with VLC the past few days and it seems to work fairly well, but it seems as if Jaksta works best for the youtube stream. RTMP dump works really well on my windows machine, but of course it doesn't on MAC.

I use an application called ScreenFlow. It's a high grade screen capture program, and there are various settings for recording the entire screen, one window, having a 50, 60, or 70% zoom in on an area around the cursor, etc. It has an editing portion too but I just bring everything to Adobe Premiere Pro anyway.

Last question that's off topic I promise! Is screenflow compatible with lion??

Got my tickets in the mail yesterday. I also bought a VIP parking pass.

Now all I need is for Axl and GNR to show up.

No mention of opening bands as yet. Since the eagle is calling it the Fall Brawl concert, I assume they might add bands.

I really hope Sebastian Bach and his band open for GNR. I've never seen Bach and I know he will put on an awesome show and also I think having him open for Axl is a good bet, he will play.

Dallas is the sixth date on the tour, so I'm hoping Axl makes it that far. lol

I hate to keep saying it, but I was burned in 2002, so I really want to see Axl and GNR bad and I really don't want to be disappointed again. This is one event my whole family is going to see and since my son is a HUGE Axl fan, I don't want him disappointed.

How'd you have your tickets shipped? I figured it'd be closer to November before I'd see tickets. We have a group of teenagers around here that like to take things from peoples mailbox, so I like to know when things are possibly coming.

And BTW if anyone does not want the setlist for Guns before the show do not look at rock in rio photos, they are showing every setlist for every artist before they play, like Coldplay setlist is up now too

I've been trying for the past hour to try and view globo.com. I'd like to have backups for my backup plan to be able to watch this tomorrow night. I've tried various proxies but no luck as of yet. If I figure out a way, I'll post back. Any ideas though why using a brazil proxy would not work??

I got some pretty good seats when the citicard presale happened. I almost screwed myself though when I called to comfirm. I called the Toyota Center to comfirm my tixs. When the lady pulled up my account she said everything was fine, then saw I didnt use a citicard. She asked me if I have one or if I could get someone who has one. She aksed how I even got to purchase them, etc. Then she puts me on hold to talk to a supervisor. She comes back on the line and said the supervisor said I have to call back with a citi card or my tixs will get cancelled in a few days. I was pretty much upset at myself for calling. I called back a couple of mins later to see if someone else may tell me something else. I was straight up with the lady and told her what I was concerned about. Well, the lady said she was is sitting next to the lady to whom I first spoke to and over heard the first time I called ( ). She put me on hold to talk to a supervisor. She came back and said the supervisor said its okay, my tixs are good and will not be cancelled. That was a close call. I am happy and cannot wait for the concert. I would love to meet some people from the forum. A simple handshake and what up.

I spoke to a woman at the toyota center and she told me One week after the General ticket sales begin (9-30-11) the tickets will be shipping out. Then its the standard 7-10 business days.

Off topic a bit, but I will fly in friday and it looks as if I can take public transportation to the toyota center and then back to the airport. My flight to Dallas isn't until the next morning. Are there any reasonable priced hotels close to the toyota center? By reasonable I mean around $50/night or less. I can't see paying top dollar to just sleep for a few hours!

To the poster asking about using their ps3 to stream RIR. The poster that had a laptop to use, you can use VLC to stream the content to your ps3. Basically you have to set it up as a dlna server. In VLC you add the YouTube stream under "open network" good luck, it's been awhile since I've done this and I don't own a ps3 anymore. I'll try and help best I can though

If anyone has an apple tv and a Mac there's a plug in called ClicktoPlugin. It'll let you stream the rock in rio feed from your computer to your apple tv. Just thought I'd mention it.

Just wanting to confirm the start time. It's 1150pm Eastern time so 1050pm cst. What I'm confused on is what day? Is it today(Saturday) October 1st here in the USA, or is it tomorrow night(Sunday) October 2nd in the USA? Probably a stupid question but I'd rather be sure then miss it!

The concert is listed on Ticketmaster, but you don't actually buy the tickets directly from them.

Notice under "Find Tickets" it says "on Partner Site" - the link brings you to the venue's own ticketing page.

Hmm, I see what you're talking about. It looks as if you would be buying directly from the venue itself. The one thing that gets me is they also list a LiveNation presage for Thursday, I wonder if the link will eventually work its way to livenation?? Also, the venue layout on the page, is that the one for GNR?? I'm guessing it is, so I am assuming GA floor. As opposed to how Dallas was with the pit.

Can someone tell me if globoHD and tvGloboHD are the same?? I would assume so. I found a rtmp dump from Portugal and it lists a tvGlobo but not a globoHD. Trying to find a rtmp dump so I can directly record the feed without having to go through YouTube.

EDIT: found it. They are one and the same. If anyone here is familiar with rtmp and in the USA, watching it this way will be far better then YouTube IMO. This being as it's a direct feed of globoHD.

Is there public transportation from Dallas/Love Field to the concert venue? I am flying into Houston friday for the show there and then flying to Dallas saturday, so any type of public transportation would be great! Does anyone know about how far it is to the venue from Love field?? Trying to figure out if theres no public transportation if itd be cheaper to take a cab or rent a car.

Anybody from the Houston Area? I will be flying into Houston and wondering if there is some type of public transportation to the toyota center or if renting a car is going to be necessary??

Well, I bought lawn seats. I'm sure alot of other people did too. Especially the people in Dallas that may not be GNR fans, but just want to go to a show. My wife wasn't going for me buying another $100 ticket so I'd rather sit in the lawn then not go!

Has an onsale date been announced for the tickets yet? I've been waiting on Houston for the same reason, $59/each way from Jackson, MS! Can't drive that cheap!
