I can’t get passed Monsters, The General will have to wait to get a proper listen. Monsters sounds like an original tune with Slash and Duff, but vocals are unreal and don’t believe they’re new but maybe. Love the lyrics, love the rhythm and Axl’s aggression towards the end. Man, almost better than sex!

Monsters kicks fucking ass!! Axl tearing up the vocals on this one! Wow! Wander when it was done, vocals sound older. The General vocals sounds newer tho…hmm…

I have an extra 2023 Edmonton for sale. $210 includes shipping anywhere in NA. 

Could “The General” be something totally new, that we haven’t heard before?  Why are we assuming the cell phone leak is a version of it again? Maybe one of those locker room instrumentals is in fact an early working of the song, renamed, blah blah? You would have thought if someone was hoarding it, would have leaked it by now gaining some attention or even trading it for something…in 3 days it’s worthless on the trading market.

Yeah, you can, there will be merch open for the public but I don’t believe that’s until 5:30. That’s the ones at the main entrance directly up the staircase before security. Enjoy the show, and maybe they play the general???

Friend of mine says doors at 5:30, GnR on at 7:30pm. Has a friend that works there, so I take his word! Enjoy the show my friends, wish I was there but a trip to Egypt has me away. 😟 Got family tickets so I can score the litho and merch.

I do hope we get to hear the demo at some point! I have to say the 2022/23 released stuff has too much production.

Majority of people see these unreleased songs as “new” music. I think there is a bunch of interesting songs from the locker room sessions that would sound cool with lyrics. Looks like we are going to get everything from those sessions eventually.

But it's a fact that I feel exactly what I'm telling here. I really enjoy some of Fincks playing on CD but cringe when I hear him play the classic solos. I don't get the love for his Perhaps solo, while Slash's not special either but I'd prefer Robin's Better solo instead of Slash's for example. 

Wouldn't say "bad", but he has def slowed down, which is to be expected from someone carrying at his age.

State of Grace is a wild card. That one was more unfinished vocally than Perhaps, Absurd, and HS. 

I’m thinking anything that had vocals recorded we will hear on the new album. So State, Atlas, and Soul Monster for sure. I do hope Quick Song has vocals on it now cause I dig that tune.

I know it’s a long shot, but I’m looking for the 2017 Miami Litho. Miami Vice was my favourite tv show (yes I’m old) and I made a mistake not pulling the trigger on this when I had a chance. I do have some things for trade, and of course cash would be involved. If someone has one for sale can u reach out? Thx

Why do we care?? Realistically, the demos are more likely superiors to anything newly released. Look at Hard Skool…I liked it when it was Jackie Chan!!!

Can anyone speak on the venue? I ended getting a ticket in the pit in front of the stage, but there seems to be another pit beside it that Ticketmaster says “gold”. But it seems further from the stage. The layout seems confusing. 

Hasn’t this been on the setlist for sometime now? New album? I haven’t heard any confirmation of a new album soon lol

What’s the best place for ticket at Hyde? Flying in from Canada, would love a ticket close up! I’m solo so can afford it!

Didn’t Chris do a cover of Patience? Maybe there was more behind the scenes with the band and Chris than we know. Looks like their was a friendship of sorts. Maybe there is a recorded version Black Hole Sun that one day will see the light?

While the track has overall improved with each new listen, the breakdown/slow section has done the opposite. Everytime I listen to Hard Skol, my mind keeps on expecting a long solo to kick in and then the song just stops for about 30 seconds. Really hurts its momentum and, IMO, doesn't fit the lyrics or the rest of the track. To be honest, the breakdown reminds me of those parts in concerts when a song is stopped flat so the singer can give a shout out to the different band members.

 

Couldn’t agree more on that horrendous 30 second drop. Not sure why they didn’t put in a kick ass Slash solo there.

I like the first 2 min of the song better than the original. Nice to hear Slash putting his spin on it. Song kinda goes in a different direction after the solo, kinda weird.
