  1. You guys are delusional if you think the jackets and stuff he's wearing is something he gets for 50 bucks online.

It's all some designers shit for hundreds or thousands of dollars.

  2. Does anyone know what exactly he is wearing on stage?

Where he gets the jackets, jeans, shirts, hats, boots, ...

Jackets are housed in specialty stores, like Wilson's.

Most malls have a Hat store, and there is always the internet.

He was wearing True Religion jeans at one time ,and T-shirts can be ordered online as well.

I'm disappointed, you didn't ask about his hair, socks, and what stones are in his big rings.

I can also get shirts and jeans at Walmart.

But I'm wondering where Axl gets his stuff, which brands and designers.

  3. My first GNR show. Fucking amazing.

    1. I think the solos and covers were a little over the top. In my opinion it's more than enough to play for 2.5 hours and have everyone on their toes the whole time.

    2. Axl is unbelievable. Axl 2002 vs 2006 vs 2010... Today is 2011 and he is 49 years old and sounds and looks terrific. His charisma and stage presence is second to none.

    3. Pretty good turnout I guess but disappointing to see the floor empty to a large extent.

    4. Also disappointing that Axl didn't communicate at all with the audience in his home state. Was expecting some stories or jokes but all we got were some routine you're a great crowd and good fucking night.

    5. It's apparent to me that there are generations of fans missing. My generation included, I'm 27. The vast majority of the audience was 40+ and I don't understand when people on here say that there was a great diversity in the audience. Even if you see Lady Gaga you're gonna see a few middle aged men but that does not mean a diverse audience. People aged 18-32 were missing. The problem is simply how to make the band 'cool' and relevant again. Axl definitely has what it takes but I'm not sure how to go about it.

  4. If you have 10000+ posts on here I think it's hard for you to give Chinese Democracy a fair judgment.

It's a pretty good album but nothing more than that, although hardcore fans will of course love it and find themselves in pretty much every song.

There was not a single song that the average fan wanted immediately to hear fifty times in a row.

Lack of promotion or something like that was not the problem.

  5. It's pretty clear that he had not left the couch for some 10 months when it came to Rock in Rio.

How else would it be possible for him to mess up November Rain?

I'd say he's getting closer to his 2010 form every day though.

  6. Are you guys serious? I think it's pretty obvious that he's not being serious.

Isn't he married with kids? And he does not sound/look like some attention seeking person who would post shit like this online instead of talking with his family and band members.

Besides the fact that he seems to be a weird/black/sarcastic humor and that's probably all this is.

  7. Yeah don't get me wrong, I think he sounds fantastic these days. But it's clear that he cut himself some slack physically after the 2010 tour.

I've just spent pretty much every minute of the the last few months studying the band and it's interesting to compare Axl's vocals/looks (which makes me gay as hell according to this forum) in different periods.

  8. I'm a relatively new fan, going to a show in Dec and can't wait.

Been following the forum here for a few months and noticing people saying that Axl hasn't looked or sounded better in years.

But judging by some youtube clips I feel like his physical and musical form was considerably better in 2010. Example

    Am I wrong?
