  1. i'm pretty sure stump was about 20 feet right of the horns against back rail of pit.

noticed axl and duff wearing STL area shirts.  seemed they did everything the could to endear themselves to STL.

not a lot of fun filming for 10 mins.

5th time i've seen them in about 15 months but still great time.

Long story but Rams US football team moved from los angeles to st louis in 90's and then moved back to los angeles a year ago.  owner said st louis  sucked so he had to move back to LA

They were and I think still are a cool local cover band that used to play around STL 20 years ago.  Not sure if he's still performing.  They used to own a club around town too.

Singer is the same but i think there's been some turnover w/ rest of the band.

  4. iirc, doors open to public @ 5:30 & Deftones supposed to take the stage at 6:25 so not sure if time for another opening act.  Zhivegas always a good time though.

I was at Riverport w/ my then GF & I didn't riot.  I did get part of a seat & some canvas tarp some dude cut up right next to where I was standing though!  Still remember seeing a bonfire on the lawn before the riot & dudes trying to rip up some tree's that had just been planted.  We took off when I noticed the police helicopter.  Quite an experience.  IMO, nothing Axl did made those people tear shit up.

So will there be like a party area in that convention plaza that everyone can get into? Or just VIPs? I've been to a Cardinals game before, but never to anything by the Dome...

Convention plaza is just a road; no real plaza.  I would doubt that there's going to be a party area but very few concerts at the Dome so I don't have much to draw on.  I assume the VIP stuff will be inside since forecast is 90+ and possible thunderstorms.  At Rams games, couple of bars/hotels had beer carts out along broadway selling so imagine they would for this.

Any ideas where the band may be staying?

I don't know but would think the Ritz in Clayton.  there's a four seasons at the Lumiere but thats right across the street from the dome.

  6. I think Cole/Carr/6th streets are closed for buses & semi's to park.  Convention plaza is always closed on event days.  Rams usually had some tents/etc set up across street east of the dome on broadway.  i'd imagine KSHE will be broadcasting around there but no idea, to be honest.  VIP parking is in lot on Convention plaza so don't think anything will be there.
