  1. They throw us hardcores a bone here and there but the set is tailored to Joe Sixpack and that ain't gonna change anytime soon. I'm more concerned this is the farewell "the end" as axls shirts say. I have never seen these guys play those songs live so it's electric. I'll admit if this is still the status quo 3 yrs from now it'll be disappointing, but a handful of shows in? No just no. Let the world see this live- it hasn't happened since the 90s. Enjoy.

Very true. After all the years apart , hoping and praying that someday In our lifetimes we would see them back together we finally get It and 14-15 shows In people are demanding something else. Even If Adler came back full time It would just end up being something else. What show are you attending?

I'll be in Seattle. I agree if Adler was back it would be "we need izzy" if we had izzy it would be "setlist sucks" not sure the nitpickers would ever be happy. And lol at the guy pissed that bumble is gone, funny stuff. People wanting Robin back too, seriously? This is a fucking amazing time. Let's see what happens.

Why would people complain as opposed to being appreciative of the fact that he has shared the stage with his old bandmates. That Is something he has been hoping for for 25 years.

Come on you know how these guys are. Relentless. I hope Adler is at the show I'm attending. I'll be stoked. I wish they'd let him do rocket queen. I'll take what I can get though.

The Guns N Roses made 14 million for playing two Coachella shows and on their current tour they make 3 million per show. Thats 89 million total divided by the 3 main members. Axl, Slash, and Duff which is 30 million for each. Of course if they split it equally. Niceeeeeeeeee My question is: How much do the other musicians in the band make?

Who can guess? Probably 500k per person for the whole tour?

A lot of what I say is tongue and cheek. It just didn't sound as good as the ACDC videos I've been watching so I felt like getting on here while in the pee line to let you know of my disappointment at that point in time. Much of the show was great and I didn't think much about his voice being rough after a few beers.  I had planned on going to the Detroit concert but Mrs Money had our baby early so I had to cancel. We have family in Overland Park so we made this show work. I went to Mexico City and both Vegas shows and he sounded better at both of those to me. I do agree with you guys who say the band sounds much tighter than Vegas.

After the show your thoughts? Band was tighter but axl was weaker than the previous shows? Did you have fun at least?

Yeah, they look to be decent.  I'm just worried about parking.  I have a 3 hour commute to the concert because I live in Aurora and my friend coming with me lives out west of Elgin and I'm the driver (and the one who bought the tix, and is giving to him at face value).  Man, I'm getting screwed, lol.

You aren't getting screwed. It's gonna be a great show, maybe split the parking and you'll feel better. Seriously though hitting the show with a friend is worth the extra expense. Have fun and don't trip on how much it costs.

some of ya'll are crazy. I came back from the show fully expecting everyone to be as amazed as me and saw things like "feel bad for the KC people" or "glad that's not MY show" like stfu. I was there and it was phenomenal!

The crowd was INSANE. Guys a row or two in front of me passing a joint back and forth, everyone on their feet the entire time, people high fiving each other after songs lol. Girls puking as we were walking out. You have to walk up this embankment to get back to the road and people were literally crawling up it on their hands and knees. TOTALLY felt like 90's era crowd.

    A couple of things:

    - couple of guys sitting beside me said RQ was their favorite song of the night. Another guy, while leaving yelled "they sing The Who better than The Who!" All the GnR staples got massive roars when they'd start, SCOM probably the loudest.

-Axl was super smiley last night. Someone was holding up a sign and he pointed at it and said "that's good". After Coma he goes "well that was festive".

    - Slash also pointed and smiled at someone in the audience during Seeker. He's more mellow on stage and it's super easy to get pics of him because of it lol. He also became more undressed as the night went on.

    - Duff has CRAZY stage presence! He's on the left, then the right, up the stairs, down the stairs. He plays with the crowd a lot, I can't tell you how many picks he goes through each concert. He sounded awesome, his background vocals really come through

When you're actually there, you're not paying as much attention to song tempo or a missed song lyric. You're just in the moment and on the most intense adrenaline high. I thought Axl sounded fine, he'd let out a scream and the crowd would go wild. ONLY "mistake" a heard was him blowing the whistle late on PC but even that was like something to registered for a split second and then I didn't think about it again until reading the comments here. I came out of it wanting to leave my life and just become a groupie, it was one of the best nights of my life. I probably looked like an idiot the entire time, I couldn't stop smiling.

so yeah, I know it;s easy to sit at home and be like "mess up there...oh, missed a note there...." but everyone who went that I saw was like THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME"

I'm glad it was a great time. From what we were seeing it was sub-par compared to the last few shows. Including comments from @EddieMoney who was actually at the show comparing it to RIR.

Looks like today we are seeing a lot of fans that were there chiming in saying it was awesome and that's a great thing.

I know you're all gonna start hating cause you;re sensitive to this stuff - but how is it possible that Coldplay can sell out two Soldier Fields and Metlifes and REUNITED GnR cannot? I know they play 10 stadiums in US while GnR 25 but every one of Coldplay's is completely sold out... take a look at Ticketmaster the seconds Soldier Field date...

It's definitely possible. However I'd pay to see Alice Cooper,  rolling Stones, Tom petty, ac dc, and other rock acts but I'd never be striving to get Coldplay tix. Just doesn't appeal to me. I'd love to see dire straits in concert or I'd even pay fair admission to see George thourouhgood (however it's spelled) but that's just me. I love rock music and I feel old when I don't love the new stuff, but it just doesn't compare. I'm open to new stuff and I give it a listen but 70s 80s and 90s stuff is just better Imo. Guess I'm old lol

I really didn't want to like Duvall because I didn't think anyone could take Layne's place. After seeing AIC twice in the last few months with GnR. I think he does an excellent job.

You don't just replace Layne, but Jerry needs to carry on. It's unfortunate that Layne has passed but I'm okay with Jerry doing shows with a replacement. I thought they were pretty good when I saw them Vegas. Don't know if I'd shell out dough to see them as the headliner but I don't knock them for keeping it going. Duvall is up to the task and they have a decent catalogue. Why not?
