yeah but have u seeen slash or duff lately? Slash is huge and duff is some kind of martial artist now, so one of them would take axl. Matt can do some definate damage to the others, dizzy and finck arent much of a threat so that leaves scott and brain and i think scotts a little physco so he could take brain. Stinson would just stand there and yell out false CD release dates the whole time so he wouldnt be doing much anyways except maybe distracting VR.

Elan - Like me

Elan is an incredible talent.  Not only as a vocalist, but she composes all her own music and writes all the lyrics as well. I've got both her CD's and can't recommend her enough. Check out songs like Street Child, Jeremy, Like Me and Get Your Blue and you'll quickly see what I mean.

I totally agree. She's the best female singer of the last 20 years IMO.

Furthermore I like Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt. And Sharon den Adel from Within Temptation.

They had some better albums in the eighties, but it's the best album they made sinece the nineties.

I like both, but I voted for Coldplay.

I like Dylan's version, but GNR made it a lot better. Maybe not in the studio, but life it's one of their best songs.

You people are just naming 'famous' people. You really need to check out some of your local bands-cause there you will probably have a good chance of finding a pretty lousy and dreadful frontman.

Actualy I found a lot of dutch frontmen (and women) that are quite good:

Bart van Liemt (The Sheer) - AMAZING This guy can make a croud of 100 people feel like the're standing in a fully packed Wembley, just by the way he performs. So much energy, power, and enjoyment in what he does. Very expressive!

Marco Roelofs - (Heideroosjes) - just one huge explosion of energy

Bart van der Weide (Racoon) - His voice is beautifull and he's just this calm but amazing presence on stage that makes you want to sing along

Def P (Osdorp Posse) - THE dutch hardcore hiphop hero. Just so powerfull He's the frontman of hollands best and oldest hiphop crew

Paskal Jakobsen (Bløf) - Amazing emotional voice, he's great at getting feeling across to the croud

Pe Daalemmer & Rooie Rinus - Two guys that started out as street musicians. Pure entertainment!

But also some terrible ones:

Tim Akkerman (Di-Rect) - a boring asshole that only attracts underag teenage girls. He sucks

Jacqueline Govaert (Krezip) - she talks to the croud like it's a kindergaten class... She's a good singer though...

I know all of them . I also agree on most of them. Especially Bart van Liemt from the Sheer. They are one of the best Dutch bands from the last few years.

I also like Barry Hay from Golden Earring, probably the best Dutch band ever.

I don't agree on Def P, but that's just because I hate their music so much.

Other Dutch frontman I hate: Xander from Volumia and brainpower.

Saw him during the rising tour in Rotterdam. Amazing show.

It shite when that happens with tickets but at the end of the day its only a band, and to be honest, not even a band worth getting pissed off about.

Yes they are a good band but theyre not the best at what they do. I could of other bands id rather go see over U2 given the choice.

That's just you opinion. Maybe they aren't the best band in the world (personally I think only GNR is better), but they are certainly one of the best live bands.

i have tickets for de arena show in holland (on the field) but i was up at 1.00 at night and the ticket sells where at 10.00 in the morning i have stood there all night to get the tickets! i was number 13 (not a lucky number) but now it is my lucky number i had the last standing tickets for the field number 14 had tickets to sitt!! o men i was lucky!!

I couldn't get any field tickets either, so I'll have to sit too, but I don't really care. I am just glad I got the tickets. And I'm glad they decided to plan two extra shows, cause I couldn't get the tickets for the first on. Now I'm going on friday july 15. Which day are you going?

I stood for hours at the postal office, but didn't even get close to getting tickets. Within ten minutes the field tickets for the first show were sold out. And within 1,5 hour they sold out the three concerts. But you could buy ay overprised tickets in the presale.

After I didn't get the tickets I went to my local CD shop, because I knew they also sell concert tickets, and luckily they had a few tickets for the U2 show. It cost me a 120 euro, but it's including the bus, and it would have cost me a lot on fuel anyway. So I was lucky only a few people knew that this shop sells concert tickets.

You have a point there, but I don't think Bono & Co have anything to do with that. It's probably their management. But I agree it's fucked up that people can buy tickets in advance, and sell them for absurd prices on the internet.

I also think it's wrong one person can buy 6 tickets. For most you can only buy 2 or 4 tickets. Everyone who was ahead of me in line bought 6 tickets. If you want the tickets, go stand in line yourself. Now people only buy the tichets to sell them later.
