Off topic but...Death Metal is a load of fuckin bollocks. A bunch of sad droopy faces moaning about some cartooney crap. Death Metal, it's just ridiculous as a notion. How can you be into death and why make a musical genre around it, i mean, you're into death right, thats your aspiration, well the last time i checked dead people didn't play or make a lot of music. It's just really REALLY immature and funny and silly. All dressed in black, chundering away on their Ibanezes.

Y'know what i reckon it is? I reckon it's a HUGE overreaction on the parts of people who are just petrified of dying. To try and make out you're into something and it's what you're about when deep down, somewhere in the Freudian tangle of your psyche, you're cacking your pants.

Listen to the whole album 3 times. Still can't like any of those songs. There are worse, but these ones are nothing special.

Nope. Far and Away is just bad. Not for me is kinda cool, it's like two steps behind the other two I mentioned. Others are mediocre at best. :-/

It's sad, 'cause I'm a huge Slash fan. But this is pretty weak. There isn't one memorable solo on the whole album. Anastasia outro the only one barely reaching that territory.

They are basically the only ones that would make it to the last album. The other ones wouldn't make the cut.

Anastasia is absolutely killer. We Will Roam is cool too. But the biggest surprise is Not for Me, which sounded like shit in the demos, but actually turned up to be a cool song.

Myles is weak. Pulls an otherwise good album down a few levels. I like him generally, but he just doesn't fit this set up. :-/

Lennon is an overrated hypocritical asshole. It is common knowledge.

He did some great things with the Beatles, don't get me wrong. Strawberry Fields is fucking magic. Once he went solo, though, his songs are pretty much crap. Even the glorified Imagine is basically a pretty shitty song, just like All You Need is Love was.

He is very overrated. As stated in the article (and I don't agree with everything said there), Harrison and McCartney were bigger talents than him. Plus he was a wife beater and generally an asshole, so... He shouldn't be that glorified. Even people at the time got fucking sick of him and stupid Yoko. If he wouldn't have died, in 5 years he would be treated by media etc like Axl is today.
