Just because GN'R isn't his favourite band, doesn't mean he can't be here. I'd put them at 5 in my top ten, but I still love them to bits.
I'm not saying he can't be here. I'm just wondering why. I mean it seems like a waste of time he could spend on forums for those other bands.

i was just watching a documentary called, blood on the turntables about The Stone Roses,
did you know after their first album they wanted to sign with geffen and geffen wanted them because they knew they had the potential to be the best band on the planet, geffen gave the stone roses £300,000 but their manager fucked them over and stole all the money. Very sad story regarding the roses.
And that makes rock n' roll belong to britain in the 90's how?

60's and 70's rock n' roll belonged to Britain: Rolling Stones, Beatles, Queen, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin etc.
That's more true, but not entirely. There were alot of american bands as well KISS, Jimi Hendrix (not a band) among others.

Most of these bands are not even close to rock n' roll! Blur, Pulp and the dorks in Oasis are definetly not rock n' roll!
And stop that shit about rock n' roll belonged to britain in the 90's. What about Guns N' Roses "Use Your Illusion 1 and 2", Metallica "Black Album", Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Bon Jovi..... the list goes on and on. Perhaps in Britain you use to listen to these bands alot in the 90's. The rest of the world did to. But they were far from enough to make rock n' roll belong to britain.

I voted Red Hot Chili Peppars. But Iron Maiden is pretty annoying as well. If you heard 1 album you heard them all. And yes, I have listened to about 10 of their albums!
But I gotta give Maiden credit for awsome guitar rifs and Bruce for his "screams".

I think he means today's rap is nothing but someone saying "yo fucka" or whatever, and has no substance. GN'R cursed a lot, but their songs weren't just 3 minutes of the 'F word.'
The best hiphop album ever is "Straight outta compton" - NWA
They say the f-word all the time, but I don't take it serious. I just like the flow and the beats of it. The fact that the lyrics contains alot of F-words and N-words is for me just a laugh.
