All trolling aside I was really pulling for Axl. I really thought he would come out and put on a kick ass show. This is not what I expected. It seems like he put in no effort rehearsing or anything. How do you mess up one of the most marquee songs in RNR? Then follow it up with an even worse performance. I miss 2006 Axl.

Nothing Bumble has put out comes close to Pawnshop Guitars. Bumble is a better player though.

Not a big fan of Bumble's shredding on GNR songs. I do love when he does his own stuff like the Pink Panther theme.

I believe Axl does not want to release another album because of the possibility of a flop. CD sold well but nowhere near expectations and did not live up to the hype. Axl knows this and probably knows he doesn't have any hype to help sell the next album. My guess is he wasn't happy with the sales of CD which is why he didn't bother promoting it and went back into hiding after the release. Then he finally said fuck it and came back and did a tour. I also do not want any more albums period. GN'R had a great legacy pre-CD. CD hurt it's legacy and anything post-CD is going to butcher that legacy unless it meets the level of music AFD and UYI were and I think only the old band can reach that level.

It sounds similar to the story that OP posted in the sense its some random woman being invited by Axl. I think this is what Daria was talking about I dont know.

This lawsuit is one of the dumbest things Axl has ever pulled.

The lawsuit itself makes sense to file as Activision lied to Axl (as it's claimed) but for Axl to repeatedly email Activision asking and making sure that Slash/VR's image won't be used in the game because it will "distort perception of the band's image" is ridiculous. Slash is a huge part of GNR's image and if Axl cares THAT much about changing that, he could start by releasing his own music, making public appearances, and doing band-like things. All of those would work better then filing lawsuits to attempt to discontinue Slash's association with GNR's legacy.
