Ok i'll accept your opinion, but i have to say that to me that was the best piece of drumming i've ever seen in GNR. Even best on VR. Matt is awesome! Pounds really hard, has perfect connection with the bass player and guitars and still has that raw feel at the same time. Technicaly is really good too.

Brain drumming was very rich, lots of styles and sounds. Live was a beast, he put so much power to the AFD songs.. he was the steroids of 02.

Lots of styles and sounds is not what a rock n'roll band like GNR needs.... again... he would do great in Primus, and those new metalish crappy bands, because really they have no quality at all.... I for once listen to Limp Bizkit. They sound great but i know that music quality isn't there...that doesn't mean i don't like to hear it sometimes.

Brain would do great on Korn, Limp Bizkit, Primus, Hed PE, Methods of Mayhem, Rammstein, Rage Against the Machine... Those kind of bands. Not all of them are new metal bands, but most of them are. Brain's style doesn't fit GNR.

He would be like playing Patience, with the drumming as fast as Nightrain... how is that any good? it's extremely crappy! It shows he had no feel for the songs at all, and didn't understand where the songs were coming from either...he just butchered them live.

He makes too much beats between bass lines, and to me that isn't good drumming. it's exaggeration! And he doesn't maintain a pattern throughout a full song (same song), his drumming sounds like a cock salad altogether...i don't like it. It sounds like every time he plays a song, he doesn't remember how to play so he just starts making up shit and give it a different drumming every time he plays it. (Obviously he doesn't do that, but that's how his drumming sounds).

Don't even compare that guy to Legendary drummer Matt Sorum or Josh Freese, or Neil Peart, or even Tommy Lee which in my view is kind of average comparing to the others i mentioned, but still 100000 times better than Brian...Brian and Frank are the worst drummers GNR had

If you induct Matt and Dizzy you can make a good argument for Gilby's induction. Also, some of the tracks on TSI were recorded freshly, post-Izzy. Since I Don't Have You for example.

Matt and Dizzy played on original studio albums genius can you see differnce ? they contributed to band`s sound and legacy whether you like their contributions or not is another subject Gilby just replaced izzy, finished the tour and rerecorded his parts on TSI.
