Yes , it's absolutely crap & as disappointing as can be after all the hype...as a beatles fan, Jesus I was gutted with it
It doesn't matter if you find it crap or disappointing. Fact is you called it an AI generated song, which it isn't.

Did you even read anything about the song before forming this opinion? They only used AI technology to isolate John's vocal from his original dictaphone recording, it wasn't used in any other way. They used the same AI technology that was commissioned by Peter Jackson for the Let It Be documentary, which again was only used to isolate The Beatles conversations when there was too much background noise surrounding them.

I think more of the same: tour, add in a few new deep cuts, release one or two chinese leftovers with Slash and Duff, rinse and repeat until they retire 🥱
Any new album or even a GNR single with new Axl vocals ain't happening.

The strat sound really suits him

Pearl jam for me in the only act I would do multiple shows. Manchester 2012, 50 songs over 2 nights with only 4 or 5 repeats. Every set is different from start to finish. Imagine if GNR did that. Hoping for a particular start song or rarities will never happen with them.
Guns have 4 albums, while they could switch the sets around a lot more than they do they could never get near this level unless they added another 10 covers 😁

Are there any other bands that tour this often and on this scale with absolutely nothing to promote? 🤔

Unfortunately until we hear this from Axl himself, any talk of a new album means nothing.
6.5 years into the reunion now and there hasn't been a single word from Axl about actually wanting to record a new album.

When most bands are preparing to release new music we hear about it on social media, press release etc. With guns n roses we are left debating Spotify algorithms. Have to say it's quite funny.

Besides, commenting on a "new album" thread that was started back in 2019 and still no new album in sight, I'd be concerned if there wasn't some level of complaining 😂

They really are. But that's the thing... everybody here knows this already. What's the point in coming here on a daily basis to tell people this? My guess is they do it for the likes and they are so frustrated with GnR that they want to be agreed upon and share their frustration with others. Misery loves company and all. Why else be so redundant and repetitive? They haven't reached that acceptance stage yet and by now probably never will.
Personally I only mentioned the chili's new album since both bands are in a very similar situation and thought it'd be a good discussion point. Both bands reunited and chili's have released 2 albums in the first year vs. well, this.

Chili's just announced a new album due in October, second album this year 🤷

I’m here. Someone who was here yesterday said they let everyone in at the VIP check-in point. Golden Circle and the rest were mixed. They’ll problably not have just one entrance today.
Many in the GA/GC queue at the moment? Decided to stop for a pint on the way and to escape the rain
-
Anyone know where abouts the entrance is? Hoping to be in the queue for 12ish
-
Apparently there were massive delays getting into the venue tonight, people missing the start of the other acts set just an FYI.

How early is early??? Some friends of mine always queue at 8-9 in the morning. I usuallay 11-12, but probably earlier this time. We always have Early Entry.
I have no idea where in Marlay Park the concert is. They didn’t email me a map.
Yeah I'm thinking around 12 myself. Same here not seen a map either, if you happen to come across one feel free to share!

MCD are saying no early queuing permitted. Surely this isn't correct and people will queue regardless?

I have VIP Early Entry. Those with VIP Ultimate Paradise are allowed to enter before us. But they usually are in their bar when we E.E. are allowed to enter. You may be lucky 🤞
Fingers crossed, going to this one alone and the barrier is nice and inconspicuous

How many early access tickets get sold? I have gold circle and I'm hoping it's still possible to get on the rail

€336 each?? I am looking for 2, preferably golden circle but I think that's way out of my price range. Thought they were about €150 each?
Ticketmaster official resale had gold circle for 120 during the week, actual price is 150 and they're still not sold out. I'd keep checking closer to the gig as you'll definitely get gold circle tickets for 120 or less.

This has to be the worst he's sounded. Going to see them in a few weeks in Dublin so hopefully he picks up a bit by then.
I used to think 2013/4 sounded bad but in comparison to now it actually sounds really good

I think setlist complaints is a bit of a double edged sword. On one hand it'd be great if they made a massive overhaul. But if they did the shows would have no new surprises going forward; they only have a tiny catalogue to choose from and aren't really releasing new music. So I think adding "new" old songs in dribs and drabs like they have been doing makes most sense. It allows them to continue milking the back catalogue much longer while also keeping us diehards somewhat happy and hopeful.

It is clear they have decided to not speak about an album, but when Slash has been asked about new music he has offered that they have worked on new music that will be released and possibly combined onto an album, at the earliest later this year. Taking into account that they seem to stick to this plan, with Absurd and Hard Skool released last year, and Slash suggesting new singles will come out later this year, I see no reason for such pessimism.
Pretty sure he said there are only 2 more songs they've worked on as of now that he expects to be released later this year?
The "New Album" Thread. Thanks to the long ass thread, I’m going home!

It is hard if you've no desire or intention of ever releasing another album.
Almost 8yrs into the reunion, 2 of which when they couldn't tour and many bands used the time to write/record and we still have nothing to show for it except a few CD leftovers.
