  1. ScrapeD???!?!?!?

yeah, the only performance of 2011-2012

Why does everyone who films this song cut it off within 2 minutes? That actually sounded decent.

After getting lucky by filming when they happened to play it (scraped) I figured enjoying the song and not looking at my phone for the entire song would be a better option, glad you guys are enjoying the clip for what its worth, I too wish it was longer

  2. I am fully aware that the video quality is bad, but the audio is good enough to hear clearly and it gets pretty good towards the end of this clip the second "sometimes i feel like" sounds powerful.. 2011 show was amazing IMO and 2012 GNR vegas residency last show 11/24 was also great I was right up front only 1 person in front of me then the stage

    Thank you, much appreciated!!!

anytime, and your username is awesome! lol

wow, thanks! axl's voice sounds like 2010

you are welcome, this show was great, any guns show ive been to has been great. no other concerts I have been too in between guns shows compares. Ive seen shinedown, papa roach, slash, and a handful of others but a GNR production far outweighs any act thats going today.

  5. Worcester 2011: Bought tickets around 2 or 3 weeks before the show. We still had pretty good seats next to the stage. Show was unbelievable, despite us missing the first few songs. Band was super tight, Axl sounded great, the solo spots fit seamlessly into the set, and my entire opinion of DJ changed. Altered my entire view of this band - I readily accept them as a live band as it's clearly their niche and I don't expect any studio output, which I'm fine with.

Can you share with us your footage of Scraped since it was the only time ever performed in the states.

is there really no video footage available of scraped yet from this show? I have it saved on my iphone, its like 1 min 13 secs of the song starting at the intro...interested?

  6. complain when there is nothing going on with this band, complain when they release a show thats gonna be on tv. The guys 51 years old, he is never going to sound like he did in his 20s. Itd be nice to log onto this forum and see something other than useless, over exaggerated topics. If you dont like the band, SHOVE ITTTTTTT! The music sounds better than nothing to me...

  7. last nights show was the best show i have been too, I saw GNR last yr in november and this blew last yrs performance away. anyone who thinks axl has lost it "belongs insane like i do". Axl joking around and really getting into the songs "coughing and saying bullshit" like the old days during patience... yeah the show was incredible... the dont cry mess up was hillarious, good thing the crowd knows the song

  8. silkworms is a terrible song. the lyrics dont even seem to fit correctly and its basically an atmosphere sound from dizzy and chris... I didnt like scraped until I heard axl sing it live in worcester last year. that made me appreicate the song much more. OMG is decent but silkworms is the worst. as someone stated before Id rather listen to "my world"

  9. I would appreciate a shorter setlist if that meant that axl was willing to put more into each song. I re-watched making F^#cking videos: the making of estranged, dont cry, and november rain last night and realized how much emotion and actually trying to sing makes those songs amazing. The music is all there and the band sounds great but I think axl needs to take a break from marathon setlists and get back some emotional connection to his songs. I am no axl or gnr basher I love this band to death

  10. So...I met Del, BBF and Axl. And got autographs and pictures. Life win.

was this after the show ? did you wait out back?

Yeah it was after the show. We waited for about two hours. This awesome dude I met who had been to all the shows before told me where to go if I wanted to make sure to meet him. He said security brings him out the same way each time, etc.

are you willing to share? either here or message me? Id wait to have the chance to meet axl

Derr. Sorry dude! I've had an hour and a half of sleep so I'm not really firing on all cylinders at the moment. Definitely not my intention to keep that from anyone.

Here goes: they lined us up by a long hallway by the tables you go to get vip stuff. It's passed double doors, it says 'convention' at the top. There is a huge ass wall hanging of the band. This area is by Fuel, which is a coffee shop (side note: I totes stole the menu, they are just sitting on the tables, I was told these were just put out that day). Basically if you're in the room with the big ass band poster park your ass there. I waited about two hours. However, it could be longer or shorter so don't get pissed if you have to wait longer. This is where Del and BBF came out too. I saw Fortus when we were lined up before the show around there too. A chick wanted a pic and he seemed kinda 'meh I'm in a hurry' about it, but did it anyway. Someone said DJ walked by there too, but I didnt see him.

Hopefully this helps! Let me know if you meet him. Good luck! :) Also if anyone gets a lithograph I highly recommend having the bell desk hold onto it during the show. (It's right across the casino floor, slightly to the left.) That way it won't get fucked up. The asshole who threw shit towards the stage, fucked up this dude's litho. I would have killed someone.

no worries at all on your respose time! late show=tired. Thanks very much for the info I will do my best ! and thanks for the other heads ups. I am pumped for the show, hopefully the last show will bring some suprises maybe even a guest spot. im hoping sebastian bach shows up, thatd be a killer finale.

  12. Has anyone who has attended the shows purchased the VIP orchestra seats? if so could you say if they were a good choice or not? also what time should one with VIP meet n greet passes pick up their tickets from willcall? If you guys wouldnt mind helping me out with this info I would appreciate it. I am coming from out of town and some information about the venue would be helpful from people who have attended the show so far.
