The stadium tour is all about getting people to see Axl and Slash on stage together again then deciding if there's a future for GNR. The problem is with Axl signing up  for AC/DC, the fans are worried how that will affect the GNR shows, and it's a valid concern.

Axl has been known to get better as a tour would go on. If anything this is going to help him and get him to peak form for the summer.

  2. Thoughts about the draft.

-Jaguars have killed it. Jack and Ramsey are terrific picks and that Jaguars team is not too far off from playoffs in that division.

-The Dolphins have a great one in Tunsil if he can straighten the off the field stuff out.

-Big reaches by the Rams and Eagles. Not sure either is a franchise QB. Better players were on the board.

-Cowboys with Elliott will be able to help out Tony Romo a lot in both the passing game and running game.

-have no idea what the patriots are doing drafting a QB about 3 rounds early.

I was in favor of suspending Brady last season when this story first broke ground, but now that an entire season has come and gone, I am ready to move on.

Statute of Limitations doesn't seem to apply here but it is the best I can come up with. This happened two seasons ago. Let's move on.

A settlement would do that. Brady said he would accept a game for lack of cooperation but the league wanted admission of guilt and their offer was 3 games. At this point the sides should meet in the middle. 2 games for lack of cooperation with a league investigation and be done. Brady can't admit to wrongdoing since he said under oath he wasn't involved in any wrongdoing

  4. The NFLPA hires Ted Olson to their legal team. Former US solicitor and has argued over 60 cases in front of the supreme court. This is on like donkey kong. Who would have ever thought that a case which involves PSI in a football would involve Paul Clement and Ted Olson.

  5. To me it's more of a reunion. Never thought we would see Slash and Axl back on stage with all of the crap that went on between them for 20 years. It isn't a true reunion since Steven and Izzy aren't there. I look at this group as I looked at the 1992-1993 UYI line up. Not a true reunion but certainly more of a reunion than 2014.

  6. The Warriors don't have to play Curry until the WCF with the Paul and Griffin injuries. They will beat either the Blazers or Clippers rather easily. We will see if he will  excel ready for OKC or the Spurs. I have a feeling he maybe gimpy and rusty and this is the type of injury which generally keeps you out longer than 2 weeks.

As far as the Celtics last night::facepalm:

goodell bent over backwards to sweep spygate under the rug and help kraft out, going as far as telling mike martz what to say to the media, and burning all the tapes. the owners were furious and breathing down his neck the whole time. so to go do this, goodell couldn't hold back the owners anymore, plus i doubt brady got the 4 games for just the footballs, he got it(and the patriots) for lack of cooperation in the investigation, and smashing the cell phone. a lot of the blame should go on the NFLPA as well, they gave goodell the power to oversee all punishments and to handle the appeals, that should have been something the NFLPA fought hard against and they didn't. the court looked it all over and said the CBA gave goodell this power. I still think if brady just owned up to it, he may received two games, and would have been dropped to one on appeal.

The spygate stuff has nothing to do with this. The Patriots were fined and docked a first rounder in that situation. I agree that this entire thing could have been handled differently with the phone and everything. However, there is no evidence this happened based on the science and there is no evidence of Brady instructing anyone to commit an act against the rules. There is nothing in the Wells report that proves that.

Was is interesting about this case is that their is 2 judges each that agree with each side.  Some legal experts feel that an en banc hearing could take place where the entire second circuit would hear the case. Would be interesting if that were to happen. This isn't going to the Supreme court imo.

The players negotiated a horrible CBA. It's sickening how bad it is and gave Goodell broad power to do this kind of thing. I will be very interesting to see if there is an en banc hearing.

  8. What would be the set list for this?

    Patience

    You're crazy

    You ain't the first

    Sweet child of mine

    Civil war

    Used to love her

    Knocking on heavens door

    November Rain

What else? Don't think WTTJ Paradise or really any of the appetite stuff would sound great acoustically. Haven't really like it when it has been played unplugged.

People shouldn't let the Bridge School performance be a reason not to do it.  It was a bad day, just like any other gig.  GNR unplugged is one thing I think the band has lacked over the years.  Imagine how good it would have been back in the day, like the Nirvana one.

I'm not saying it would be fantastic if they did it today, but I'd like to see it. Axl using a lower, softer voice mainly. Don't do Jungle, You Could Be Mine.  There's some good acoustic versions online of Rocket Queen, Sweet Child so I'd like to see them do something like that. Obviously Patience.  Yesterdays, Knockin On Heaven's Door would be good too.  L'Arc performance of Nightrain, This I Love was amazing too and those was semi-unplugged.

Not sure how night train would sound on acoustic. Don't picture it as an acoustic tune.

  9. I can only imange how annoying it would be to be chased in an airport by a mob of media.  There is a time and place for an interview and certainly an airport isn't one of those places. People need to respect peoples privacy and wishes to not be hounded and harassed in every public place they go into.

Yeah, Slash never spoke much while in GN'R ...just like you said, other than the occasional "hey f'ers" type thing.

I didn't follow VR and his solo projects much.  Did he talk more while on stage with them?

He spoke at almost every show with Myles Kennedy. He introduced him, always said something after paradise city and something always before the encore.

Please elaborate on how "Axl's been doing everything in his power to keep Slash as far away from the spotlight as possible". Do you have inside information?

Yeah I haven't notice anything that Axl has been doing to keep Slash out of the spotlight. Slash rarely spoke at shows in the 80s and 90s,  there was no press release and I haven't heard anything about a gag order. There is nothing to suggest any of this.
