What would it take for you to leave here & close your account?

We are all so upset about the state of things in GNR land that I can't figure how we have become so engrossed in a band that gives us so little.

& don't say you stay because you have "friends" here, you could always email each other & leave this place in the dust.

I check in once in a while looking for news/updates/rumors/gossip/ etc.

I've been asking myself lately why I feel I "need" one last song or album or ....oh I don't know something from Axl (even though he don't owe us a happy ending) before I say good-bye for good.

But then I realized that nothing they could give would satisfy me the way I imagined. So no matter what they put out (album/new dates/interviews) it''s still disappointing.

I would love a new interview with Axl & maybe a song featuring Izzy.

An interview with Axl explaning things is what I want.....yeah. *sigh* I live in hope.

I KNEW that guy was a F.A.K.E. since discovering him years ago......I tried telling some fans on line but nobody believed me.

No way would Izz use some guy to do all his tweeting for him when he hates the whole premise of social networking.

& he never posted PROOF that he even knew Izzy with a picture for example.

Can you say with out a doubt that GNR is (still) your favorite band? (old GNR yes. new GNR no!)

& are you hesitant to tell certain people this?

......I know we are all GNR fans but recently I've turned to other bands to help me & now GNR means less & less to me.

Perla helped clean up Slash & for the most part keep him on the strait & narrow.

Do you think that a good woman is what Axl needed in the early 2000's?

I understand that Beta has steped in & helped him where a wife normally would have but I can't help thinking that if a woman (who knew herself & was strong willed) could have changed him for the better & made him stronger & ready to take the next step into adult hood. He needed a woman who would also have acted like Perla & helped manage the band (as much as I hate the idea of that) because you have to admit anything she could have done for him would have been better that what we have from the current band it it's state.

But look on the bright side...at least he didn't turn to Scientology.

If the labels rejected his 2010 demo, why didn't he try with another label.....how can he just sit back & do nothing for so long

As unfashionable as it is, I have always supported Adler on this. All evidence points to Stradlin getting Adler hooked on smack. Stradlin also got Slash hooked on smack.

Izzy was the first to get hooked & he sold it around town, he sold it to Aerosmith. Axl/Slash & Steven were mostly potheads. The more time they spent with Izzy the easier it was for all of them to get hooked, you could say that Izzy was the one who had the "stuff" & introduced all the guys to it & showed them how to prepair it.

From what I understand none of them had any prior experience with smack before they met Izzy.

But the question still remains. Where is the footage? I'm mean we already know they took the stand so....

So I assume you have all seen the video of Axl in court giving his deposition about the riots & what have you.

The whole time I was watching it I wondered how or why that tape of him became public?

& also WHERE ARE THE TAPES OF IZZY/SLASH/DUFF etc...??

I know that all the guys were bought in & questioned but why is the Axl video the only one we get to see? this really bothers me & I wonder if the tapes of the other guys are in the vault or something.

Did the judge say only one video could be made public & not the rest? that makes no sense.

All I want is to see all the treasures the vault has to offer before I die. That is all I want. I hear there's literally years of backstage footage from the UYI tours & so much more ugh!

Its ultimately on Axl, he didnt seem to have the confidence or devil may care thing to just put it out.

But in those two instances. They really were close to closing, Axl was ready to mix. Thats a go! Its like ABC. Always be closing, You dont keep talking after they agree, you whip out the contract.

But I think they got Shacklers n Sorry out Ezrin. So it wasnt all bad. but I think it shook Axl and that had ramifications.

I didnt read past 2002 but Bucket leaves. That tour was a disaster. It really reads like UYI era, accept the riots came before the release.

Bucket leaving really took it to 2004. then they have to tour to establish Ron and Frank. This to me is Axl trying to make it a band. Everything has a knock on effect.

Maybe Axl won't release it because he knows if people hear it they will notice how much his voice has changed since 2000.

& that he can't sing like he did in 2000, & a concert using "those" songs would be an embarrassment to the GNR name.

Yes on the album, but when he has to sing them in concert people are going to wonder where the rasp is? & how come he sounds so diffierent live.....I think a new album is going to bring his current vocal range in to question for a lot of folks including the critics. A new album would bring him more focus from a lot of people who were not GNR fans to begin with & they will be very critical of his performance somewhat.

I think it has been written by Jarmo. The problem with it is, Izzy just sounds so, wet in it. Contrast this,

I think (and the evidence points to this being fairly obvious) he has periods of fads and mini obsessions across the board interspersed with protracted periods of inactivity and procrastination which would account for times when he has been very fit and the times he is not. The missing ingredient is consistency. A lot of conditions have this as a symptom, Bipolar, ADHD/ADD, ASD, PD. I'm fairly sure Axl has one of these conditions.

Axl said (at one of his concerts during the UYI tours) "If some scrawny junior high 90pound weakling can get his ass up here so can any of you." So was he referring to him self weighing 90pounds when he was a younger? That's pretty small to begin with. He's not built tall & bulky....he is currently FAT. Not overweight just fat. Some men prefer the term "husky". He's not chunky.... yet, but just a little "husky".

The reason magazines & reporters say Axl looks bad is because he was so attractive in his younger days & now he's ugly in their opinion.

It's the blow back good looking people have to deal with as they age. If Axl was always a regular looking guy his whole life, no one would care how he looks today but the fact that he was so cute/hot whatever, when he was younger is a big deal to the masses.

They compare photos of him from yesteryear to today & what they see shocks them, my guy friend said he would definitely have fucked Axl when Axl was young because he thought Axl was extremely sexy back then.

Axl is just one of those guys who should always stay super slim, he's not big boned, he has a slight frame & in some photos his forearms just look tiny & delicate, the weight does not do him any flavors.

Buuuuut if we really loved him & "cared for his well being" we would accept him as he is blah blah blah....

Izzy has aged really well & I think he look's the best out of all of them, imo.
