  1. The problem with the app is that the same videos will be up on youtube to watch which costs nothing.

You can pull it for copyright but why can i still watch the tokyo show?

I wouldn't say that's the only problem. You can't watch it without the app or without a wifi connection. If you want it in MP3, you have to purchase it separately (if it's even actually released in that format).

Seems the key selling point is that you can see it before the release, but it'll probably be on YouTube or on torrent soon after the app is released anyway, so there goes that selling point.

Apparently it's going some other awesome features, that weren't even described, so idk how awesome they could possibly be.

That app better be under $4 or else idk who the hell is going to buy it.

Rockfuel seemed to be very proud that they are the first to be offering an app like this. Maybe it hasn't been offered before because it's fucking stupid.

  2. Idk, maybe this is a good thing. Maybe they don't want to put out a live CD out, because they're looking at putting out a studio album out sooner rather than later, and they don't want two album releases to close together. Here's hoping.

I'm not happy about the format options, but I'll still buy a copy to support the band. Hopefully I'll be able to rip the DVD to get a version in the MP3 format that I want it in, so I can play it on my iPhone even if I don't have access to WiFi, which I normally don't if I'm not at home.

That app option blows. I'm sorry, but how the hell is a format so limited appealing to anyone? smh

  3. A few posters from the ABNation forums found the song on iTunes. Search "Slash World on Fire". As a result, I'm downloading and listening to it now. You got to pay $1.29 though.

    I think it's better than You're A Lie.

Found it and bought it. Thanks for the heads up dude.

Weird though, Slash's tweet said it would be available in iTunes starting Monday, so I'm guessing this was a glitch?

  4. Well cheesy...but I'm glad he's putting himself out there. It's progress of sorts and a sign that hopefully he isn't ready to jack it all in.

This is my positive take on it as well ^_^

Plus, he looks kind of cool in that gif Nosaj posted. Yes, I know I'm a bit pathetic.

    +1

I'm starting to appreciate the OG biker thing he's got going.

  5. Viva España! I'm of Spanish decent and have been a life long Spain fan. After decades of disappointment, I'm ecstatic over their recent success, and I'm hoping it'll continue for at least one more tourny. Winning in Brazil would just be perfect.

I'll be rooting for the US too, and I also like Portugal. Portugal has a really entertaining style, I love watching them play.

  6. Paranoid and Aroused is pretty sick. It's always good to start a playlist with a little bit of Korn. then some rap then go classic rock. works for me.

I kinda do the same. I don't always start with Korn, but always use them as a transition from rap to rock.

They have some good tracks on every album but half is usually filler. Very repetitive but found their niche, Jonathan is a pretty weird vocalist, his angst breakdown yelps get on my nerves but sparingly are good fun, not in almost every track though. Can't really think of many riffs that are particularly inspiring, some nice straightforward pounding ones but having two guitarists always seemed a wasted opportunity.

Untouchables is their best record, great collection of tracks.

Fave song is probably Everything I've Known.

Always liked a couple from each record except the last two, even the one where they got a production team to write a lot of it had some good ones. Tearjerker, Coming Undone, Hypocrites and Twisted Transistor were decent.

My favorite albums were the first 2, with the first one being my favorite. They were a little more rock than the albums that followed, and the grooves were awesome.

But yeah, I agree that every album has a good song or two.

They have some awesome videos too. Love this one:

  7. Just get the damn recording with Corey Taylor out and all will be good.

I'd kill for THAT thing.

I'm really curious to hear that too, but the more I listen Stone Sour the less excited I am to hear it. I like Cory an all, there are a handful of Slipknot and Stone Sour songs that I love, but for the most part he leaves me blah. I imagine the blah stuff if what they had with VR since they chose not to move foward.
