AIC is one of my favorite bands. I've only seen a couple of performances from that Unplugged show but they were amazing.

Mick Mars
Ritchie Blackmore
-
GNR of course! AC/DC is close though.
-
Her stuff with No Doubt is awesome, of course. I hated her solo work at first but it's so damn catchy that I'm beginning to come around. I'm not gonna buy her album or anything but I don't mind hearing the songs once in a while.
-
Whoa, that's pretty damn cool! I'm thinking about going, I just don't know if I'll find many people to go with. lol

Avenged Sevenfold--Waking the Fallen. They are an amazing new metal band from America. Think of a perfect mix of Maiden, Metallica, In Flames, Pantera, and believe it or not GNR toward the end of the album. This album will not let you down
Oh I have that album! I was so in love with it last year, they're an awesome band. Walking The Fallen has some killer riffs and the singer's voice is pretty hot too. Even though I don't listen to it anymore, I recommend this album as well to people who are looking for something new.

I'm not a fan of either. But Maiden sucks so much that I'll pick Leppard.
Ditto.

Motley Crue!
Other favorites would be Zeppelin of course, AC/DC, Aerosmith...from that list anyways.
-
Fuck Good Charlotte, they're awful. Sorry.
-
There's no competition here for me - Motley Crue. I don't really like people calling them a hair band because that's not exactly how they started out, TFFL and SATD were more speed metal, as for their look, it was a cross between dominatrix punk and Mad Max. But as we all know, they slid into a hair metal category later. I love them either way.

Metallica - The Black Album
Stone Temple Pilots - Core
Motley Crue - Shout At The Devil, Dr. Feelgood
Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon
Skid Row - Skid Row, Slave to the Grind
Aerosmith - Pump, Permanent Vacation, Get A Grip
AC/DC - Back In Black
GNR - AFD

I like both but I'm gonna have to go with Ozzy. He always got credit for his crazy ass antics, but I'll have to agree with Blackie Lawless here - he never received the proper recognition as a true vocalist and performer.
-
I haven't heard the new song but I pretty much stopped liking Limp Bizkit's music 4 years ago...but good for them if they're releasing new stuff. Their last album kind of tanked so maybe this one will have some success. I'll check it out later.
-
there they are in all their glory
ahem - care to look at the row numbers etc
*sits back in smugness*
I'm so jealous. I haven't gotten mine yet but I'm definitely going. I CANNOT miss the Crue!
-
I plan on seeing them July 26th in Irvine. I can't wait - it's gonna be so rad! A lot of people from Shout are gonna meet up and hang before the show, so I'm probably gonna check that out.

Nikki Sixx.

I don't really care, I think they're decent though. I've only heard 2 songs.

BLACK SABBATH! the definers of heavy metal
Word.
One thing that I never understood is how Zeppelin gets all the credit for being the first heavy band. Don't get me wrong, I fucking love Zeppelin, but Sabbath was a 1000 times better. They were darker, heavier, and they did it first!
I definitely agree with you there. I just don't think that Sabbath as huge as Zeppelin did.
-
Metallica all the way. Never liked Maiden's music.
-
Guns N' Roses
Motley Crue
Skid Row
AC/DC
Aerosmith
Ozzy Osbourne
Pink Floyd
Velvet Revolver
Stone Temple Pilots
Led Zeppelin
-
Nikki Sixx is my favorite bassist so I'm just gonna say him and I don't care if he's not on the list!
-
Eric Clapton
Ozzy Osbourne
I actually like a lot of Lenny Kravitz's stuff too.
