I'm trying REALLY hard not to listen to any songs or snippets and wait for release day. I have got the World On Fire single, and heard Bent to Fly once and that's all I've heard so far.

I've always assumed this part of Pretty Tied Up was Axl ad libbing.I don't think it's a line Izzy actually wrote.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
I had just spent the afternoon catching up with my two brothers, who I don't see often, when I read your post. It made that time with them seem more special.

Just got a Facebook update from Guns saying International cinema dates coming soon. Sorry, but I don't know how to post FB links from my phone...

Yeah, he's entitled to his opinion, but his timing is pretty poor...

I'm sorry, but gotta laugh at people calling KOC a "cash-grab".
How dare a group of rock stars get together for a concert and charge people to come and watch...lol.

He spent his life making the world laugh, now he's gone, the world is in tears...

He was one of my favourite actors. Incredibly sad. My condolences to his family. The world has lost a huge talent and a great man.
RIP Robin Williams

Has anyone heard an Australian release date? Can't wait to get my hands on this.

1977 Chrysler Gallant. Faded paint and vinyl roof. It was a piece of shit, but as it was my first car, I loved it. Bought it for a $1000 and sold it for the same amount a year later. Had some fun in it, too, as teenagers do.
A first car is like your first shag...you never forget it, though it can be embarrassing talk about.

I thought they had a deal together where if one of them left, they would all disband.

If Bumblefoot is genuinely leaving, I wish him good luck for the future and thanks for his part in keeping Guns alive.
If he is just pulling our leg, he certainly got everyone talking... well played, sir!

Love both bands, but I'd go with Led Zep, just cause I'm a sucker for guitar solos.

It was actually No. 16 Bus Shelter.
Some out these names have to be seen to be believed.

I remember a story years ago about someone in New Zealand calling their kid "No. 6 Bus Shelter".
I'll do a search on Google and see if I can find it.

Keep the demons down
And drag the skeletons out
I got a blind man followin' me in chains
I said he's fun to watch
When the world has stopped
And I think he's got somethin' to say
I saw this too. Seems pretty random...

Rock will never die. It may not always be popular, but as long as there is people with guitars and people who will listen, rock will always be around in some form.
Before the Beatles came along, they said guitar groups were on the way out. They said rock was dying almost every decade since. It's still around and always will be.

Mark Knopflers solo stuff might fit what your looking for. Shangri-la has some great songs. Back to Tupelo and Song for Sonny Liston are two of my favourites.

I hate horror movies, but like horror novels.
I hate sci-fi novels, but like sci-fi movies.

Thanks for the update Rockfuel. Do you know if it's EXCLUSIVELY iTunes, or will Google music be included as well?
Your favorite stand alone GNR track?

Like a lot of you,my favourite always changes. One song that always gets me, though, is Jungle. Especially when I hear it unexpectedly. That intro hits, and I get chills...
