PC sounded meh. It's not strong, but it's not terrible. It sounds like 2012 Axl, but with a small amount of effort.
overall performance: a strong meh.
highlights: CD, Jungle, Fortus, Better, Motivation, Catcher, Street of Dreams, Objectify, Nightrain, Seeker, UTLH, Patience
Rockfuel did a great job on the audio mixing.

Used To Love Her on now. It sounds decent, but this is another one of those songs where it's hard to fuck it up
Am I the only one who liked Rocket Queen? I though it sounded great
I thought it was a weak performance vocally.
UTLH was a good performance, I liked it. Patience on now. It's almost 10 minutes, not sure if I'll listen to the whole thing
Skipped ahead almost 3 minutes to get to the song. Don't care to listen to the instrumental jams
and there's the LIVING THE DREAM comment. I lol'd.
Patience was a solid performance. PC on now
-
Just wondering if you'll be watching the new concert film. If you've already seen it, what did you think?
-
Civil War was a good performance. I liked it. The Seeker is on now, it sounds pretty good. It sounds the same as the other performances of the song so if you like those, you'll like this. It's a good cover.
Not sitting through a 12+ minute performance of KOHD. That song is a pissbreak. Skipped Instrumental Jam. Listening to Nightrain now, so far it's good.
Nightrain is the best performance since Welcome To The Jungle. Axl sounds great

Better sounds ok. Raspy intro. It sounds better than some of the other performances I've heard. Not an amazing performance, but not a terrible one. Skipping Motivation and Dizzy's solo for now. Catcher on now
Catcher is a solid meh so far. It's not by any means a shit performance, but it's not quite like the 2009 Asia tour or any 2010 show.
Street of Dreams on now.. Instrumentally this has been a great show. Rockfuel did a good job mixing
street of dreams sounds pretty good.
You Could Be Mine I'm not re-visiting this.
Skipping Dj's solo. Don't need to listen to it to know that "abomination" will suffice. Not listening to SCOM again. Same w/ Another Brick and November. I like Objectify but will listen later. Don't Cry on now
solid rasp at the end of DC
oh shit never mind, from rasp to mickey in just a second
Civil War he seems to be doing that weaving thing with his voice like he did in Easy and Brownstone.
Civil War sounding good

Skipping the solos because I don't care about them. Skipping LALD because it's a shit cover of a shit song. This I Love on, bracing myself for Dj's solo
This I Love is meh to bad. He seems to be struggling a bit. Jesus though, this solo is fucking awful. Please, someone PM forum member DJ ASHBA a link to purchase the official Chinese Democracy tab booklet
The "I'll never say goodbye" lyric from TIL was terrible.
Better on now.

Estranged was horrible, absolutely terrible performance from Axl
You see what I was saying about the weird deep voice, right?
Yeah, what the hell was that?
Rocket Queen on now
Rocket Queen sucks so far, another weak performance from Axl
-
Jizz Da Pit rocks, it's Slash's best instrumental piece so far and is one of the best songs from IFOS
-
Listening to the first song RQ posted. Vocals suck so much ass but that doesn't matter for our purposes. Song is basic and palatable enough. I wouldn't mind hearing Axl fuck around with something like that. #nevergonnahappen
If you think I'm going to take the time to google machine DJ Ashba songs, you're sorely mistaken.Life Is Beautiful
This Is Gonna Hurt
Lies Of The Beautiful People
Pray For Me
Accidents Can Happen
They're Nikki Sixx songs too, use that excuse to Google them

The "Do you know where you are? You're in the jungle....Gonna die" part of Jungle sounded amazing. This is a great performance of the song from Axl, especially considering the fact that The Axl Rose Disaster Part II was only a month prior. It's So Easy on now
It's So Easy sounds meh. Kind of hard to fuck it up, but Axl seems to be using a deeper than normal voice. He hits the right notes though. Brownstone now
Did they miss the que in Brownstone? Drum intro went on a bit longer than usual. Axl doing this thing with his voice where he's weaving in and out of a really deep voice. It sounds weird. Instrumentally this is a good performance of the song. Axl sounded a bit weak on the last few lyrics. Estranged on now
-
got it on now. Chinese was a good performance. On to Jungle now. Dj's posing intro just started

Ok, let's get this fired up!
Who's going?
I'm sure I'll be taking in more than one show in the next year or so.
The first one being on July 13 in Kitchener!
is it really sold out?

Sweet, made my edit unnneeded. Thanks man, I think that's the one I'm going to get. I've never ordered from Discogs before so there's a first for everything.

I saw the Blind Melon record at the record store, but it's over 30 dollars. Not sure if I want to spend that much on it. Does anyone here have the MOV version? If so, how is it?
Edit 2: Russ answered -
Loled at Axl going "living the dream" during DJ's Patience solo.
This is my favorite part in the whole show. From my perspective, it looks like Ron is honestly trying to keep from openly laughing at DJ, Axl sees it and lays the "LIVIN' THE DREAM" line on Ron which causes both of them to openly laugh at DJ.
The best part about it is Dj isn't aware of the fact they're making fun of him

I'm still waiting for the Motley Crue movie "The Dirt" What happened to that?
It's still happening, hoping for a 2015 release
-
I saw the headline dates, but none are around me Hopefully more stuff will come early next year after South America, as I'd love to see him on this tour as well.
I remember seeing Charm City Devils on one of the Cruefest tours, but don't remember their material that much. I have to agree with you about Jizz Da Pit, so far it's my fave. Curious to hear what Safari Inn will sound like though. Do you think it's better than Watch This?
-
I don't know if the right reaction is or
While I respect Matt's views on Animal Rights, this is just soooo cringeworthy. Matt should stick to drumming, and stay far, far, far, far, far away from the microphone. This video does seem like a good thing to put on if you want to clear a house after a party though
-
It's all in the "General Chat/Random Musings" thread in Anything Goes.

I hope the new instrumental replaces Watch This. I never really liked that one, I preferred Jizz Da Pit by a LONG shot. Can't wait for the Aero tour, really hoping a proper US tour gets announced shortly
-
I think opening with Oh My God would be cool

How do we know that they wanted to call it "The Legend of the Red Pander" where did the rumor start ?
A guy in Germany faked(?) the Monstrosity single, and in that single was album art/title
Another title that patronizes and condescends to a country he's never been to please.
North Korean Democracy starts now?
He's been to China though, GN'R played in Hong Kong and he mentioned visiting mainland China in Fear N' Freedom in the Chinese Democracy booklet
When I was fortunate enough to visit both Hong Kong and Mainland China, I experienced different levels of fear at all times in relation to the particular area I visited. I did not experience the fear in the sense of having feared for myself, I witnessed it in others everywhere around me, and kept my demeanor calm, observant and extremely polite. What I felt was emotional heartbreak. I’ve never witnessed so many individuals going about their lives in such a degree of visible fear, especially the average citizen in the spectrum of social, economic or social position. The military were nearby in some form or another, from one lone sentry to marching drill teams. It was not like a movie as it was much more exreme in the sense that this was real. I did not ask or talk about any of these issues with anyone in public.

This Is Gonna Hurt is the album title and the first song's name. I prefer Lies of the Beautiful People to This Is Gonna Hurt though
