  1. Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds

    very good.

    :P

where can you find it? I've looked all over the place and never came across it.

try amazon! that's where i got it!

    was delivered within a week!

  2. Any one heard of Nas? He's great. And for a time where rap is all about Sex, Drugs, and Violence...he's stuck to his roots. Another good artist that has stuck to the hip/hop roots is Talib Kweli. Both great artists B)

    i agree.

"Stillmatic" is my favourite Nas album, but i can't understand all the excitement about "Illmatic"...they even released a 10 Years Anniversary special edition of that album  *cough* sell out *cough* ;)

  3. me,i am more of a rap fan than GNR, i have to admit that.

i listened to rap earlier, and i always will prefer rap over rock. that isn't meant in any disrespect to GNR, i love that band...

Rap Music (especially 2Pac) has given me more than anybody/ any kind of music can ever give.

I feel like 2Pacs lyrics raised me more than my parents (Keep your head up showed me how to "handle" with women). his words gave me hope in bad times, and when i was in anger i felt like he knows how i feel (Hit em up)...

unfortunatly today, successfull rapmusic is mostly pure bullshit (50 cent, J-Kwon, TI, Young Buck and so on...)

but if you dig a little bit behind the surface, you see rappers, who have intelligent lyrcs again, for example Immortal Technique, a NY rapper, i like him a lot, he is very against bush btw...

for me, my favourits artists ever are:

    2Pac

    Guns N Roses

you see, i rank GNR over every other rapper, and 2Pac for me,is much more than rapper, he is a brother and a friend for me (now is that cheesy :D ).

i can truely understand how people can dislike Rap today...it's because that every rapper nowadays doesn't look if he can make good lyrics and rap properly, no, it's more important to have a special amout of bullet scars, huge pants and some kind of ridiculous hats ( can i call these condoms on their heads hats?)

watching rapvideos on MTV today is pretty embarassing imo.

  4. how popular is oasis where u guys are? cause around here i dont think i know 1 person who listens to them besides me.

In the uk they must be massive. they played the biggest concert of all time(in the uk) in knebworth I think. but 2002 Robbie Williams stole this record. over here in germany I know only one guy besides me that knows Oasis but I'm sure there are more.

    *waves*

    i know them.

but i don't like them that much, maybe i have listened to them not enough.

  5. No i do not think rap music should be banned.

Some rappers are musicaly geniouses, im sure Spoon87 will agree.

2pac, NWA, Public Enemy, Run Dmc are just some examples of rappers who are very creative.

Rap in the Early 90's was very good.

All this new stuff is garbage though, all you need is bling, couple hoes, 20 inch rims and your set.

    damn, i couldn't agree more :D

    *high fives*

    ;)

if you consider J-Kwon, 50Cent, Young Buck, and all this shit as rap, that's pretty poor, but i'll agree that this is shit music.

but if you'd like to take a close look besides the mainstream, you'll see guys like Immortal Technique for example...

but even mainstream rap can be good, Kanye West is a good example...
