Thank you for giving your input on the matter :)

The whole thing is a controversial subject and we've tried to be as respectful about it as we could. Most of us agreed that digging further would be crossing the line so we backed off.

I hope this has satisfied @nn18's concerns.

Acctually, that was not my concern at all :D

I liked seeing pictures of Axl's parents, not because of me being a stalker or being obsessed with a celebrity, but because I have a thing for figuring out who the kid looks like, a mother or a father. Including Axl or some other celebrity. I'm really fascinated with the genetics and the way it works. Thank you @dalsh327. But I very much agree about leaving too personal things out because that's just the way it should be.

My point was that you called  @Slash787 creepy for saying that he would like to know more about Izzy's stepdaughter, but digging into other non public figures' lives such as Axl's parents' pictures or doing ''heavy'' researches like that were not. They're both equally ''bad'' in my oppinion and just because he's a guy does not mean there should be different standards for him (I'm not claiming that you said that, just stating the obvious). Both men and women like gossiping, chatting and priving into other people's personal lives. And that's very wrong of course, but we're all guilty of it and we know it. And everybody who says otherwise is lying (I'm looking at those lurkers here, who're reading the thread but are afraid to admit it )

Having said that, I do find some things here to be too much for me, but it's ok, I just stay out of the discussion and wait for some other subjects to come that I'm interested in. What is weird and creepy for some people may not be to some other people.

And I do not want to start any fight, or cause any negativity here, I just pointed out what I felt was wrong and would just like to leave it that way. PEACE :)

No, there was no nose job...he botoxed and lifted his face though.

The voice changed because his new band played much higher than slash and co...Axl admitted at China Expo that he sang higher in the CD era to protect his voice + the different band... and of course he got older and his voice was a bit ruined as well...

And don't forget....redheads don't age that well...only if your name is Angie everhart.

Mick Hucknall 2016: looks like a rotten pumpkin from last Halloween.

Redheads don't age well because of their pale skin that is extremely sensitive and is easily damaged by the sun etc.

Latinos or black people on the other hand age much better because on their darker skin. Just look at Jennifer Lopez, Sophia Vergara.... Or Lenny Kravitz! The guy looks better in his 50s than in his 20s....damn

Perhaps because people are watching the shows and enjoying themselves ?

As it should be. I'm not complaining about the lack of videos (if I was there I wouldn't even bother to take my phone out) it's just that we had a lot of videos for the first couple of shows compared to these last few, where we barely have any.....

Wow.....that was a magnificent RQ :headbang: Though, I wouldn't mind it if it was a little shorter, the jamming part is kinda longish

Too bad we don't have a better video. Why aren't there good videos for these last couple of shows? I don't get it, we had plenty of those from the beggining of the tour....

He's hyperactive and likes to talk a lot. I don't see how he's much different than Axl. They are both into telling lots of jokes, telling stories of debauchery and such.

I prefer people who are "in your face" instead of the shady ones. I think I may be a "in your face" kind but I've had to mellow out a bit with the years.

Well, that's the thing; I sometimes think I'm ''in your face'' and I don't like that about myself either. The other times I'm socially awkward as @MillionsOfSpiders said  But definatelly, it's better that than being ''the shady one''.

And I don't think Axl is like that at all. Axl is very talkative, self explanatory, cracking jokes etc. when he's in the mood , but I've never found him cringeworthy the way I find Baz. But nevertheless, I must admit that Baz is kind of interesting even when he's annoying....if that makes any sence :D

I must be the only one in this thread who don't like Baz

I tried to like him, he's funny in the Eddie Trunk interview with Axl and everything, but his voice really gets on my nerves.

I gave him a shot when he opened for GNR, but my ears!!!

Wasn't he on some celebrity thing with Ted Nugent that was just embarrassingly bad? I can vaguely remember him doing Nugents nut in! Which isn't a bad thing at all.

You're not the only one exactly....

I mean, Baz was really hot in his youth *cough cough* and he can be interesting (especially in that Trunk interview they did together) but there's something really annoying and off about him. He's just too much ''in your face''. He might not be that way in real life, but based on what we see and hear of him, he's just too much to handle for me most of the times

He wasn't pointing at Slash, he was telling them to start the song, signaling he was done with that story. As far as I know, Slash isn't into guns, so that wouldn't make sense either. But I read in the women's thread that Fernando is, so it was probably him or someone else like that  Agree with the rest of your post though.

Yeah, watching it again, you're right :D

  8. About Melissa:

If the band is willing enough to pay her, than there must be a reason why she's in there. And if they're willing enough to give her a spot in this band, than I'm willing enough to accept her. She's not destracting, she does not ruin the songs, she's cute, seems nice and has a great backing vocals, and the most important thing-she brings positivity and gets along with all the band members. So who am I to argue whether she's necessary if the band thinks she is.

About the gun story Axl told before OTGM:

Whose gun was that? Slash's? Is he into that kind of stuff? Cause after Axl finished the story  he pointed out at him; whether to give him a sign to start a song, or to show who is the ''idiot'' who forgot that has a gun. :P

It's a bit like the domestic violence thing isn't it.  Axl always gets it in the neck for beating his women, but Steven Adler gets away with it.  He was sentenced to 150 days in jail, but thats never mentioned.  Slash was arrested for DV, but not charged.  Even Erin Everly has been arrested for DV.  The more I read, the more heart sorry I feel for Axl.  Seems he is still getting a good kicking for things he did 25 years and more ago.

    This

Axl is an easy target, that's why he gets much more crap compaired to other guys. He's a band destroyer, woman beater, homophob and racist....Nevermind that one of his bandmates was half black, that his favourite musicians were Elton John and Freddie Mercury, that the DV charges did not appear for more 20 years.....Now he's even ''fat fuck'' how some call him on AC/DC forum.

He's done a lot of shitty things in his past, but not much worse than others did. And still he does not get away with it as others do. But general public don't care about that. Whenever you try to show someone the other side of the story, that he had a really bad childhood, that he had severe psychological problems etc. not a lot of them are willing to accept or just try to understand.

The injustice bothers me a lot and it took me a lot of time to swallow that those things will never change. But the truth is they wont. Axl Rose will always stay the bad guy of rock n' roll

  10. That Sorry was simply beautiful.....Axl's timing might be off  a few times, but I don't care. That was wonderful.

It has that Zeppelin/Floyd wibe, that I haven't noticed before. It must be because of Slash's bluesy solo.

It was super weird, and super cool seeing them next to eachother and being ok with it. After all it's just a song (in case it is about Slash, and IMO it deffinately is)
